Rose Baby is a delicate pale and super feminine pastel pink with a gorgeous shimmer – I felt like wearing a glowing, pale pink, and I absolutely love it.

This is three coats without a top coat.

Dior Blue Denim - Blue Tie collection fall 2011 - Collaboration Saturday

My friend Elena from PicturedTinsel and I have new swatches prepared for you, it's time for Collaboration Saturday!

My choice today is:

Dior Blue Denim 607 – is from the Blue Tie collection fall 2011.

Blue Denim is a beautiful navy blue cream with the famous Dior hidden shimmer – and this is two easy coats without a top coat.

Floral failure nail art

The base color is Indigo Bananas Klein Trink Wasser, see swatches HERE, and I wanted to test a new brand of acrylic colors and made a total mess of it all – I didn’t like the end result, but ah well, that’s life, my sweet husband liked it. I dabbed a bit of Sinful Pinky Glitter in the center of the flowers, and the top coat is Seche Vite.

What do you think of this floral failure?

NYX Salon Formula: Ink and Pastel Blue swatches

Today I have two random NYX polish from the Salon Formula line...

NYX Salon Formula Ink is a dark blue squishy looking jelly with a beautiful shiny finish.

Beautiful yes, but I definitely bought it by mistake, because I cannot wear jellies LOL – my old ridged nails looks terrible in them. OK, I could use underwear – but then again, I have so many other blue polishes…

This is 3 coats without a top coat.

NYX Salon Formula Pastel Blue:

NYX Salon Formula Pastel Blue is a very pale and slightly grey toned pastel blue cream with an extremely lovely formula, a good dry time and a beautiful shine! This is 2 coats without a top coat.

You have to admit that jellies aren't for my old nails - but how do you like the shades of blue of these two..?

Floral French nail art on Cosmic Raibow

The base color is Dance Legend Cosmic Rainbow, see swatches HERE. I painted my half flowers on the tips with acrylic craft colors, and the top coat is Seche Vite!

Revlon swatches: Jaded and Sunshine Sparkle

Jaded:

Revlon Jaded is a pale pastel mint, and in the sun I see a very shy shimmer. The formula is easy to work with, and this is three coats without a top cat – two coats might have been enough.

 Sunshine Sparkle:

Sunshine Sparkle is a pastel yellow with a subtle and fairly shy shimmer.

The formula is thin but does not flood cuticles – so it’s easy to apply and it’s definitely not chalky! I needed three coats for these swatches, I didn’t use a top coat.

Do like these two pastels from Revlon..?
