Smitten Polish swatches: Frangipani and Himalayan Blue Poppy

In this post I have two lovely Smitten Polishes:

Frangipani:
Smitten Polish Frangipani is a pink-toned lilac with a subtle holo. It is easy to work with, the dry time is good, and here you see 2 coats with a top coat.

Himalayan Blue Poppy:
Smitten Polish Himalayan Blue Poppy is a bright turquoise with a subtle holo. It is easy to work with, the dry time is good, and here you see 2 coats with a top coat.
Do you like them - and which one do you prefer..?

I bought them from Edgy Polish in Sweden - they have International shipping!

LCN Daniela Katzenberger swatches: Blue Lily Cat and Cat Clouds

LCN produce a row of makeup products for Daniela Katzenberger, and I came across these two in a German perfumery a year ago. Of course I needed them – I love cats, the perfect excuse to buy two more polishes ;)
140 Blue Lily Cat is a beautiful medium blue with a wonderful formula, so easy to work with and with a good dry time. This is two easy coats without a top coat.

Cat Clouds:
130 Cat Clouds is a beautiful sky blue with a very subtle shimmer, just like I prefer them. The formula is perfect and easy to work with and the dry time is good. This is two easy coats without a top coat.
My favorite is Cat Clouds - which is yours..?

Chanel Lilac Sky 210 The Color World collection spring 2006 swatches

Chanel Lilac Sky 210 – is from The Color World collection spring 2006: Paparazzi 208Marilyn 209 and Lilac Sky 210 - click on the names to see the other two!
Lilac Sky is a pretty pink-toned lilac with a beautiful shimmer. The application was easy, the dry time good, and you see two coats without a top coat.
Do you like Lilac Sky..?
I like it a lot - and even better than the brand new Sweet Lilac, that you can see HERE!
It still can be found from time to time on Ebay and similar places, but unfortunately often at a fairly high price.

China Glaze Off Shore coll.: Be More pacific, Dune Our Thing and Sun Upon My Skin

Here are my 3 picks from the China Glaze Off Shore coll. summer 2014.
I liked the formula in all of them, they have a good self leveling ability and the dry time is good.

Be More Pacific:
Be More Pacific is described as a light lime creme, and I agree. Two coats are enough, but here you see three.

Dune Our Thing:
Dune Our Thing is described as a dark neon berry creme – one also could call it a dark fuchsia/magenta. You easily can get away with one coat, but this is two coats.

Sun Upon My Skin:
Sun Upon my Skin is described as a yellow creme, I see it as a pastel lemon yellow. The formula is not at all streaky, maybe just a little bit runny, but not a problem. Two rich coats might be enough, but this is three.
I like them all, but Be More Pacific is so lovely and quite unique...
What do you think of them?

Chanel Marilyn 209 The Color World collection 2006 swatches

Chanel Marilyn 209 – is from The Color World collection spring 2006, including Paparazzi 208, Marilyn 209 and Lilac Sky 210.
Marilyn is a hot pink girl with a slight coral hue and a subtle shimmer, but Blogger makes this a tad more vivid than in person. The application was easy, the dry time good, and you see 2 coats without a top coat.
So, is Marilyn your kind of girl...?
I have found a lot of information about the Chanel polishes on my LIST, but still miss a lot of info. So if you can help me with any of the missing info - I hope to hear from you, here or on my email metzger@mail.tele.dk - thank you!

L’Oreal swatches: Not a cloud in sight and Royalty reinvented

Both polishes are from the spring 2013 collection called The Trendsetter collection.

Not a cloud in sight
Not a cloud in sight is a turquoise cream, a dark Tiffany color is you will. Two coats would be enough for most nails, but I had to do three because of my ridges (and I always do use a ridge filler even for swatching). The self-leveling ability wasn’t superb, so I also used a top coat on this one for an even result.

Royalty reinvented:
Royalty reinvented is a lavender cream. This is two coats, and I used a top coat for an even result as it doesn’t self-level quite well enough for close up photos.
What do you think of these two..?
