Illamasqua Phallic swatches

It is terribly long since I showed an Illamasqua, so here you go:

Illamasqua Phallic is a blackened blue with a gorgeous cobalt blue shimmer. It is fairly opaque in one coat, but you need two. I’m showing it with a top coat.

Do you like this blackened blue?

It is just a tad to dark for me, but love the shimmer...

Glam Polish Fruit Of The Poisonous Tree swatches

Glam Polish Fruit of the Poisonous Tree is from the Welcome To Storybrooke collection. I have always considered this a true beauty and have been saving it for a special occasion, as I tend to do with the most gorgeous polishes – most of the time just ending up using them without any special occasion LOL – it’s silly, I know!

And Fruit of the Poisonous Tree does not disappoint, it IS gorgeous. It’s a super gorgeous dark blue-toned purple holo with magenta-pink micro flakies/shimmer. One coat was almost enough, but this is two with a coat of Seche Vite.

Enchanted Polish Reign Beau swatchtes

Enchanted Polish Reign Beau was released in August 2015. It is a beautiful periwinkle holo with a subtle yet fully visible effect – I think it will be perfect for spring. You see it in two easy coats and a coat of Seche Vite.

Chanel Lilas - Lilac no 5 swatches

Chanel Lilas – Lilac no 5 is a muted and soft pink-toned lilac creme, a delicate and kind of elegant color. I don’t know the age, but it’s older than 2002. My bottle is a “Made in USA”, and I don’t know if there also is a “Made in France” version. I have been on the lookout for this polish but found it way too expensive each time it popped up. Then one day I found it at a reasonable price and instantly grabbed it. You need 2-3 coats for opacity. 

It might not be the first colors of my choice - but I am so happy to have it in my collection and I actually think it is quite elegant....

Above The Curve Stormy Night swatches

Above The Curve Stormy Night is from the Best Things About Fall collection, fall 2014. It is a violet-toned dusky purple holo with a subtle dash of flakies shifting in pink, blue, green and purple, I didn't capture them very well, they were more visible in person. This is two easy coats with a coat of Seche Vite.
