Sending you kisses and flowers

 

A quick little mani. The base color is Essence Sending you Kisses from the Ready for Boarding Coll. Before painting the strips and flowers I sponged the tips with Uma Trend Effect psychic pink. The top coat is Seche Vite.

En hurtig lille gang blomster i dag. Grundfarven er Essence Sending you Kisses fra Ready for Boarding kollektionen. Inden jeg malede striberne og blomsterne, duppede jeg tipperne med Uma Trend Effect psychic pink, og toplakken er som sædvanligt Seche Vite.

The wild flowers on the jaded stone

 

 

The base color is Models Own Jaded Stone, and I sponged the tips with Butter London Wallis before I painted a field of flowers with acrylic craft paint. The top coat is Seche Vite.

Grundfarven er Models Own Jaded Stone, og jeg duppede tipperne med Butter London Wallis inden jeg malede en blomstermark med akrylfarve. Toplakken er Seche vite.

Movember - Artsy Wednesday

 

 

This weeks theme in Artsy Wednesday is MOVEMBER.
For this worthy cause I chose to paint the beards in different style with acrylic paint over Maybelline Color Show in the color GoGo Green 340. The top coat is as usual Seche Vite.

The base color is China Glaze Grape Pop, and as you can see my nails are pretty short. It was my vacation mani from the beginning of October. The flowers are painted with acrylic craft colors, and the top coat is Seche Vite.

Grundfarven er China Glaze Grape Pop, og som du kan se, er neglene ret korte, fordi det var en ferie mani fra begyndelsen af oktober. Blomsterne er som sædvanlig malet med akrylfarve, og toplakken er Seche Vite.

Micro Painting Monday 2

Todays first micro paintings are a mix of blue and purple background colors combined with various glitters and flakies.

 The next are all on NYC Mint Maracoon combined with layerings, shimmers and glitters.

The last 4 paintings are on different greens in mint nuances with added shimmer, flakies and glitter.

Deep Purple is almost duochrome leaning towards black, a very interesting and unique color

 

Purple Haze, a heavy packed gorgeous purple glitter, opaque in two coats. Here shown without a top coat, that brings the glitters to life.

Purple Imperial - a warm toned purple with a lovely blue and pink shimmer

 

Purple Mystique - a dark, true purple with blue and magenta shimmer. Not unique, but this kind of color calls my name each time I see it...

Purple Passion - a warm toned purple with a rubber finish

Make Up Your Face polish swatches

I saw swatches of Quartz on a blog, and went to check out the shop of Make Up Your Face on Etsy. Here my attention was caught by the Deception Collection - an below I'll show you why...

I love to use this kind of color changing effects in my nail art, and these in many ways reminds me of Kiko's Sparkle Touch.

Quarts over blue and black - it gives a unique and subdued ice/glazier effect with slight blue/green shades....

The striped regatta

 

 

The base color is Ciate Regatta, a one-coater semi-matte denim finish polish. It was so pretty, and I decided to go for something very quick and simple, and with a silver striper matching the shimmer in Regatta, I painted random stripes and dots. The top coat (Seche Vite) made the polish a little darker and brought out the shimmer even more.

Grundfarven er Ciate Regatta, en et-lags semi-mat denim finish lak. Den var så smuk at jeg besluttede kun at male noget meget hurtigt og let. Jeg tog en sølv striper der matchede shimmeret i Regatta, og jeg malede tilfældige striber og prikker. Toplakken (Seche Vite) gjorde lakken lidt mørkere og fik dens shimmer endnu mere frem.
