A flower vine on an angels kiss

The base color is Color Club Angel Kiss, the greenish holo from the Halo Hues collection 2012. As I didn’t want to overpower the holographic effect, I went for a simple flower vine! As usual the nail art is painted with acrylic craft colors and the top coat is Seche Vite.

The apple was poisoned – but I’m still alive

The base color is Pirate Polish Poison Apple and the tips are painted/dabbed with the bottle brush in China Glaze It’s Alive – hence the super silly name. As usual the nail art is painted with acrylic craft colors and the top coat is Seche Vite.

A pattern for the muse

The base color is Sinful Muse – quite a name LOL
Let’s face it, no matter how hard I try I’ll never learn to love this type of color, but I know a lot of others love it… And next up my idea also was ruined when I used a copper striper on the thumb, it was too subtle, so I ended up doing something quite different – and ah well, not my favorite mani.
By the way, some (most) Sinful colors dry so extremely slow on me – is that just me, or…?

Shimmer and flowers for Venus

The base color is Jessica Venus Was Her Name – a very interesting and unique color, a smoky, grey purple with a lovely shimmer. I sponged the tips, and I have forgotten to write with what, but it could be one of my Make Up your Face shimmer top coats or a Kiko Sparkle touch – sorry about that. I painted my flowers with acrylic craft colors and top coated with Seche Vite.

Monica's pattern...

The base color is Zoya Monica, a beautiful eggplant purple cream polish. I don’t really know where this flower petal feather-like pattern came from, but that’s what my brush did when I let it loose. The top coat is Seche Vite.

The holographic sky - Artsy Wednesday

This weeks theme in Artsy Wednesday is "Inspired by the view from my windows" - and I am so fortunate to live in the countryside, with a from time to time almost holographic (maybe not quite) blue sky - and we grow Christmas trees as a hobby. Right now the winter is quite cold and we have snow - so here you go...
The base color is Color Club Blue Heaven (very appropriate here, right?) from the Halo Hues coll. 2012, and the rest is painted in acrylic craft colors - and the top coat is Seche Vite!
Next week there is no Artsy Wednesday, we have decided on posting every second week from now on...
Check out some other Artsy Wednesday window-view mani's
