Colors by Llarowe Liz's Eyes swatches

Colors by Llarowe Liz’s Eyes is the Polish Of The Month (POTM) February 2016. It is a wonderful violet crelly with a pink/magenta and a lighter violet shimmer that makes it look like it glows from within. After the first coat I was afraid I would need 3 coats, but 2 coats was enough. I also added a coat of Seche Vite.
Isn't it gorgeous..?
It will be released tomorrow February 1. In Europe you can get it from Hypnotic Polish!

The Never Ending Haul Story part 56 - Nail mail January

After being in doubt if I ever would buy polish again in Nail mail December - I'm back, still on a fairly moderate level compared to many other months...

January 8th:
The first nail mail of the year came from Mei Mei Signatures...

January 12th
Nail mail from Pretty Polish - a beautiful "bunch" of Picture Polish...

January 15th:
The AWESOME Purrfect Pawlish Anniversary Duo, see swatches HERE and HERE!

and:
Chanel Sunrise Trip from the spring collection - the last bottle before the new formula and bottle print with no name on the back :(

Another wonderful nail mail from Hypnotic Polish - 17 gorgeous beauties!!!

January 27th - my first NOT FOR ME  nail mail ever...
- it is torture, feeling the joy of receiving a heavy indie nail mail, ripping it open, but have manners enough to read the card first - huh, I'm not Dharmine :(
It is TORTURE not to be able to open.
I seriously felt like Gollum, izzz them holosis, izzz them magentazis, izzz them beautizis, I want them, I needsis them, just a little peek, just a very little peek.... No, no, NO Maria, bad, bad, bad Maria you must not even think about it...!
The sender wants it back to the US - so that it can be sent to Dharmine in Australia, the polishes will reach a considerable price before their journey is over...
Until now I have spent 2-3 hours searching for shipping options, emailing back and forth - and by now I'm sick and tired of being honest :D

Will The Never Ending Haul Story continue?
Will Maria actually buy more polish??
Does she ever get enough - HAS she gotten enough???
Are you confused - you won't be after the next episode, IF there is going to be one....

Chanel Satellite 31 swatches

Chanel Satellite 31 is older than 2002, but I don’t know how old. It is a gorgeous topper in square silver glitters and golden and multi-colored shimmer. I’m showing it in one coat over Purrfect Pawlish Pitch Black, the perfect one-coater black, and I added a coat of Seche Vite.
I thinks it's a beautiful topper...

Takko Lacquer Kiss The Sky swatches

Takko Lacquer Kiss The Sky is a gorgeous blurple (blue + purple) jelly with a stunning duochrome shimmer shifting between orange and green. It is very sheer in the first coat, but two is all you need. For these photos I did however add an extra and a coat of Seche Vite. The bottle is the old type, now they are flat and square, and I believe this polish was sold in 2012, so it’s about time I show it.
I think that shimmer is pretty amazing, even if jellies aren't really my thing!

Colors by Llarowe Chasing A Unicorn swatches + comparison

Colors by Llarowe Chasing a Unicorn is a duo of polishes with a color correcting base coat and a white holo, quote: “This base coat lays the foundation for the white in the holo top to really shine.  It color corrects the nail bed to prep the nail for the second polish in the duo, the white holo.  The result is that illusive linear white holo of your dreams.”
The instruction say: “If you would like a soft white holo finish 1 thin coat of "Unicorn Color Correcting Base Coat" followed by 2 thin coats of "Chasing a Unicorn" is recommended.  If a stark white holo finish is desired apply two thin coats of "Unicorn Color Correcting Base Coat" followed by 1 thin coat of Chasing a Unicorn.”
I wanted stark white. But I soon realized how sheer the base coat is when you have ridges like mine (I did first apply a ridge filler base coat as always). So I chose to test it with 2 coats of OPI Alpine snow on my ring finger and 3 coats of the color correcting BC on the rest, because 2 coats was not enough for my nails/ridges. 4 would have been better – but not for my patience ;)
Conclusion: I liked the duo combo best, but I wish the Unicorn Color Correcting Base Coat was more opaque, then it would be absolutely brilliant!

Colors by Llarowe Winter's Dark Nights swatches

Colors by Llarowe Winter’s Dark Nights is the Polish Of The Month (POTM) January 2016. It’s a black/charcoal base holo with strong and intense purple shimmer, it is so unique and interesting! It was fairly opaque in one coat, but this is two with a coat of Seche Vite.
I’m not a black polish fan, holo helps a lot but holo and beautiful shimmer like in Winter’s Dark Nights does the trick. It is beautiful and dark, yet soft, I love it!

Glam Polish Aquarius, Hypnotic Polish store exclusive swatches

Glam Polish Aquarius the newest polish in the Hypnotic Polish store exclusive collection called Zodiac, so far 8 polishes, so 4 more to go.
It is described as an amethyst purple holo with blue and pink flashes. It’s a perfect description and the blue and pink flashes are holo micro glitters, and the amethyst kind of purple is just a little dusty, but not too much.
It is fairly opaque in one coat, but this is two with a coat of Seche Vite.
I think it's really beautiful - what do you think?

It is available from Hypnotic Polish - grab it while stock lasts!
