The Christmas Story: Ice flowers, day 7 - Jule historien: Isblomster, dag 7

Dansk, se længere nede.

The little mouse woke in the middle of the night. The moon was like a huge golden orange, and it seemed so close to earth. The sky was full of glittering stars and huge ice flowers covered most of the windows. She sat in the window a long time admiring the scenery, and did not want to go back to bed. She also had a good look at the red berries on the tablecloth and in the decoration, but behaved herself. Even if she struggled, eventually she fell asleep, but she woke up a little later shivering in the draught. She quickly returned to her warm bed, curled up and started dreaming.
To be continued…

The base color is 1 coat of China Glaze Little Drummer Boy and 1 coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust. I painted the ice flowers with white, silver acrylic paint, and the moon with gold, orange and a touch of silver. I have been cutting my brushes like the amazing Robin Moses demonstrates in this video  – but I think I need to cut a little more.
