Catrice Dirty Berry, swatches, review + nail art

Catrice Dirty Berry is a subdued, dusty purple holographic polish. It's easy to apply and dries quickly - here shown without top coat.
Of course I had to add a little nail art, and as usual when I do nail art on holo's - I'm simply not very happy with it, nothing really wrong with it, just blah...
Furthermore silver flowers on holo is a difficult mix for a camera, but that's a totally different matter ;)

  3. First time I saw Dirty Berry I didn't really like it. The finish looked interesting though, so I bought it anyway. And I am glad I did, because now I really like having this in my collection.
I like your nail art as always, even though I can see how difficult it was to photograph :)

    1. Thank you The Lacquer Tracker, yes, it's the dusty feel, that made it go right on to my swap list, but I agree it is unique - but not super good for me...

  20. I love the colour and I'm happy because I have it too :-) I got it in my last nail-mail from my cousin, but I still have to try it on my nails :-)
I think it is kind of difficult to make nail art on holo nail polishes, they simply don't like to stay "in the background" and let the flowers (or other nail art) pop-up... I suggest you to avoid the silver acrylic colour and to use something like white or black :-)
"Oh, also I'm here, a tiny little purple flower in the angle of the nail, does anybody see me?" :-)
