Nicole by OPI Kim-Pletely In love, Sky's The Limit & Yellow it's Me - swatches & review

My first Nicole by OPI - and maybe last

Kim-Pletely In Love - it's super sheer very pale pink with a subtle blue/green shimmer

Sky's The Limit - it has a subtle silvery shimmer, but I was very surprised that it is so super sheer. To obtain the same color as in the  bottle, you need several coats.
Yellow It's Me - it has a subtle copper shimmer - and it's fairlyr sheer.
I have tried them all on my nails, but since I hate super sheer and slow drying polishes (the more coats the slower with sheer polishes), I'm never going to wear them again.
They are however very nice for layering or sponging and effect under my nail art - so IMO that's the best way to use them...

  1. They look nice but I agree with you. Slow drying nail polishes are the most worst thing :(

    1. It really is, and the more coats you need, the slower it gets...

  4. My favourite is Sky's The Limit! I agree with you and with Nail Crazy: slow dry polishes are such a nightmare...
You might be interested to hear that I bought my first yellow nail polish... and it's your fault! LOL :-)
First I made swatch photos and then I decided to put some nail art on it (like I usually do with new polishes, you saw it in last days posts), but... working, working really hard... i finished with this result: the yellow base nail polish is almost all covered with other colours, you can see two shy stripes of yellow... I think I need some help, my relationship with yellow is very complicated :-)

    1. OHMG - did you actually buy a yellow polish, I cannot wait to see which one it is LOL
Covering it almost up, tsk tsk tsk Raggio di Luna - but maybe that will be a slow way of getting used to it, bit by bit!!

    2. Well, my yellow nail polish is nothing special, I just saw it on sale and I said to myself: If I don't take it now, I never will... I like some of your yellow nail polishes much more than this one! :-)

  5. I find NOPI can be hit and miss, but there are a few good ones out there!! I personally like the brand, when I was younger I thought it was the "good" polish bc it was the best I could afford. It will always have a soft spot in my heart :)

  16. Too bad that they're slow drying- they're quite pretty, and I do like the yellow one (surprise, surprise). How did you feel about the bottle? I know a lot of people can't stand it (myself included!).

    1. LOL, the bottle is kind of cute, but very clumsy to store - so I prefer more normal shaped bottles...
