Scarab’s drag flowers

The base color is Illamasqua Scarab, a beautiful brown-toned wine red. Did you know that Scarabaeus sacer, is a scarab beetle worshiped by Ancient Egyptians, it’s a dung beetle actually. Now we rarely see the Scarab, that is efficient agriculture for you :(…
I remember when I was a kid growing up in the countryside, at dusk they flew, and could hit you pretty hard, if you were on a fast bike. Mine was fast because I was slightly afraid of ghosts and some other creatures that in my imagination lived different places on my route back home from my play mate, I remember signing really loud made them keep their distance ;)
I painted flowers with metallic arylic colors, and used the drag-marble technique for both the leaves and petals, and the top coat is imn Nothern Lights in Gold, it’s looks a bit weird on the photos.

  10. So, you could have become a singer, after all those singing loud! But, who was more afraid of who: you were afraid of ghosts and other strange creatures or they were afraid of you when you started singing? :-)
Illamasqua Scarab is the kind of red that I could wear, I like dark red! :-)
Beautiful flowers and the combination of colours!

    1. LOL - definitely, they were afraid when I sang - whether it was my singing or the loud sound - personally I prefer to think the latter... ;)
