China Glaze Autumn Nights coll. swatches part 1: Don't Make Me Wine, Red-Y & Willing, Public Relations, Kiss My Glass, Tounge & Chick and Scandalous Shenanigans

Today I will show you the first 6 of the 12 polishes in the China Glaze Autumn Nights collection - tomorrow I will show you the rest.
This collection is already now available at Pretty Polish in Holland, and the owner, Petra, always/often have the new China Glaze collections way before they are released in the US - I love that :)
Pretty Polish carry many interesting brands - go take a look - click HERE!!

Left to right: Don't Make Me Wine, Red-Y & Willing, Public Relations, Kiss My Glass, Tounge & Chick and Scandalous Shenanigans....

All are one coater's, but because of my ridges I show them in 2 coats. I did not apply a top coat...
The application is easy, dry time is very good - and I am thinking that these would be great for stamping too!

Don't Make Me Wine is a fuchsia red/magenta with pink shimmer - it's like liquid velvet - and I am totally in love with this one!

Ready & Willing is a deep, glowing and vampy red with a brighter red shimmer - also a clear favorite...

And a close up of both red's - left is Ready & Willing and right is Don't Make Me Wine

Public Relations is a gunmetal grey metallic with a light purple hue - prone to brush strokes, but metallics and I are not a good match...

Kiss My Glass is also a gunmetal grey with a dark teal hue...

Kiss My Glass to the left and Public Relations to the right

Scandalous Shenanigans is a gorgeous and almost glowing blue metallic, not terribly much so, but still a little prone to brush strokes - but again me, myself and metallics = not a good match!

Tongue & Chic is an emerald green/bottle green shimmer, the shimmer is just as pretty and glowing as in the two red's...

What do you think of the first 6 - do you like them and are you tempted to buy any of them...?
If you are, you could visit Pretty Polish - and Petra delivers lightening fast too!!

  5. You already know I love Red-y & Willing (I like your photos better). I like Tongue & Chic too, but I don't know how similar to Emerald Fitzgerald it is.

  6. Red-y And Willing is pretty. I love that satiny ribbon red. I like Tongue & Chic too. The rest I am sure I have dupes for already. I am looking for a good brown this fall, so I hope they will come out with one. I will watch to see what the rest of the collection has to offer.

  20. The red ones really look sexy on you!

    SvarSlet
  21. Great post Maria! This collection looks very promising. My favourite of this bunch is the Red one. I don't have enough reds! For some reason (maybe that I already have too many? lol) I feel I don't *need* the others, but that could still change!
    xx

    1. Then the question is: Can you have too many reds (or any other favorite color) - nah, I don't think so ;)
Yes, as fall closes in on us, we tend to change our favorites...

  22. I was very confused by this post--fall 2013 already? Then you explained where you got them, so I felt like I hadn't missed something. :)

The green is the only one that catches my eye, though I may reconsider if I flip through my nail wheels and find something similar. I know I already have plenty of red shimmers and even blue ones, and those two grey ones are just too brushstrokey for me.

    SvarSlet

    1. LOL - it's so nice just once a while to be first here in Europe ;)
It's so pretty - but as for the red shimmers, cann one ever have enough, that's the question :)

  23. Loving the way these look. I'm a bit tempted, but think I can hold my ground :D
