Blue, white and infra red

Blogger changes red colors when I change the size of my photos to large - this is color accurate.
Blogger ændrer røde farver når jeg ændrer mine fotos til "large" - sådan ser farven ud i virkeligheden.
The base color is China Glaze Infra Red – and even if I always use a ridge filler base coat, my ridges stand unusually much out in holographic polishes, when dry – even with a generous coat of Seche Vite over my nail art.  As usual I painted my flowers with acrylic craft color.

  3. I had the same issue with ridges being more visible under holo and matte polishes. I sorted it out by applying more generous amount of base coat. I'm a bit disappointed with Infra red because it isn't red at all, and I was so looking forward to a red holo. Your nail art is sweet as usual.

    1. It's annoying, I tried 2 x ridgefiller BC, and a polish underwear, but no, when it's bone dry they appear, but I do have some very deep ridges...
      Thanks a lot :)

  7. Lovely flowers as per usual! I've found a thick base coat works better for me than the ridge filling one I was using before (I use Instant Artificials).

    1. Thanks a lot Karen, I tried Googling it, but only found links to artificial nails, what brand is it/where do I find it..?

  8. I don't know why holos show ridges so bad, but they do it to me too! I usually just try to buff mine down without weakening my nails though.

These flowers are really pretty! I love the blue and white together!

    1. I never buff my ridges, then my nails split vertically, and that hurts so badly - and as you say weaken my nails too much - and in the end it didn't really help at all, because I have severe ridges... :(
I'm so pleased you like my flowers, thanks a lot :)
