From Marianne I got 2 polishes from my wish list Ninja Polish Floam and Revlon Whimsical - yayyy. The card is the cutest ever, and I got Marianne (!!) sweets and the coolest duochrome beetle, called Billy. To the left you can see, that I previously found one similar to him, or rather whats left of it in the southern part of Germany.Thank you so much Marianne!
Fra Marianne fik jeg 2 lakker fra min ønskeseddel, nemlig Ninja Polish Floam og Revlon Whimsical yayy. Kortet er bare så sødt, og jeg fik også Marianne (!!) bolcher og en cool duocrome bille, der hedder Billy. Til venstre kan du se en lignende (resterne af den) som jeg i foråret fandt på en parkeringsplads i syd Tyskland. Tusind tak Marianne!

 

From Line I got Cult Nails Deal With It, OPI Yodel Me On My Cell, Sephora/OPI Hell To The No, Ulta3 Orchid (a huuuugeee lemming) and Liquid Glitz Cobalt Freeze - yayyy! I also got a cool "match box" with nail files, sweets, The best glue Ever (for all kinds of nail art, and really, really great) and 2 delicious kinds of tea! Thank you so much Line!

From my darling husband I got one more "house" for polishes - each drawer holds 180 polishes, but the lower drawers are for other nail art stuff. You never know if a model suddenly is discontinued, and it would be annoying not being able to get one in a year or two. So far I use the new one for the untried that aren't on the 2 acrylic racks, future gifts, polishes up for sale or swap... (click on photos to see a larger version)
Fra min kære mand fik jeg endu en neglelak kommode - hver skuffe kan rumme 180 lakker, men de nederste skuffer bruger jeg til andere negle relaterede ting. Men man ved aldrig om et møbel udgår, så derfor jeg ønskede mig den, fordi det ville være kedeligt at stå om et par år og ikke kunne få en mage til. Ind til videre bruger jeg den til de ikke afprøvede lakker, der ikke er plads til på de to acryl trapper øverst på kommoderne, gaver til andre og byttelakker... Hiding in the Greyscale

 

 

In my series of Hiding in X I chose to do the greyscale!
The base color is A-England Camelot and I created the camouflage pattern with a dotting tool and OPI Alpine Snow, China Glaze Concrete Catwalk (the very dark grey), Essie Cocktail Bling and P2 Arctic (the super pale grey). The top coat is Seche Vite.
I min serie af Hiding in X er jeg nået til gråskalaen!
Grundfarven er A-England Camelot og ved hjælp af et dotting tool malede jeg kamuflagemønsteret med følgende lakker: Alpine Snow, China Glaze Concrete Catwalk (den meget mørkegrå), Essie Cocktail Bling and P2 Arctic (den super lyse grå). Toplakken er Seche Vite.

Emotional flowers

 

The base color is 2 coats of Sation Miss Emo Shun All (hence the title), and gorgeous blurple neon. It was a bit thick and dried a bit slow, but OHMG it’s so gorgeous! I painted the flowers with acrylic colors and top coated with Seche Vite.

Grundfarven eer 2 lag Sation Miss Emo Shun All (deraf titlen), en utroligt smuk blålilla neon. Den er noget tyk i konsistensen og tørrede lidt langsomt, men hvor er den dog smuk! Jeg malede blomsterne med akrylfave og toplakken er Seche Vite.

Pink laces on black - Artsy Wednesday

 

This weeks challenge in Artsy Wednesday is “lacey” – and as my base color I used A-England Camelot and with pink acrylic craft paint I freehanded (not very neat LOL) the lace. The top coat is Seche Vite. I was planning to remove it right after I finished the photos, but I ended up wearing it until next day.

Denne uges udfordring i Artsy Wednesday er en blondemanicure – og min grundfarve er A-England Camelot, som jeg malede (ikke særlig sirligt) blonder på med lyserød akrylfarve. Toplakken er Seche Vite. Det var min mening at tage det af straks jeg var færdig med at fotografere, men jeg endte med at vente til næste dag.

The base color is A-England Order of the Garter, and I originally wanted to paint daisies with looong petals, but then my brush overpowered me and painted this, I didn’t even have time to chose other colors than white. And guess what – I loved it (old mani from July 18th)!

Note that my right thumb has a guest appearance today, I actually like it better than my left hand.

Grundfarven er A-England Order of the Garter, og oprindeligt ville jeg male margueritter med laaange kronblade. men min pensel overmandede mig og malede i stedet for dette, jeg fik ikke engang lov til at vælge andre farver end hvid – og jeg var faktisk rigtigt glad for det (det var den 18. juli)!

Aquadelic abstract

 

 

This was my first attempt in this type of abstract, which lead to others, of which I have shown a few more advanced. I have noticed a lot of bloggers doing the black outlining since then ;)

The base color is China Glaze Aquadelic. With a dotting tool I painted the pattern in Sinful 24/7 and China Glaze Beach Cruise-R – both neons, and I outlined with a black striper and top coated with Seche Vite – I liked this one!

Dette var mit første forsøg i denne type abstrakt, som førte til andre hvoraf jeg allerede har vist et par stykker, der er mere avancerede. Jeg har også set en del bloggere bruge den sorte outlining siden da ;)

Grundfarven er China Glaze Aquadelic. Jeg malede mønsteret med et dotting tool og de to neon lakker: Sinful 24/7 og China Glaze Beach Cruise-R. Til sidst outlinede jeg mønsteret med en sort striper, og toplakken er Seche Vite.
