A helping hand - or rather should have been

I got the brilliant idea to paint nail art on false nails - not to wear, only for showing on the blog.
I get to keep my nail art, and can paint whenever I like, prepare a lot of base colors, finish it and photograph it when I have the time and the light is right.
That is a brilliant idea, right?
But the  not so brilliant idea was to invest in this plastic "training hand" from a random seller on Ebay. It was supposed to be soft with bendable fingers, it's not soft, but the fingers are fairly bendable if you press hard.

It's supposed to fit false nails tightly, at least that's what the description says. But unless you first cut the "cuticle end" of the nail, you cannot make it fit, and even then it falls of unless you glue it on because the it's not cut deep enough and "side walls" does not embrace the nails at all, not matter what size and kind of nails I tried.

So I cut/filed a nail very pointed, painted it hot and vibrant pink (Butter London Disco Bisquit) and made a piece of modern art of it. Do you like it... ;)
