The theme of this Artsy Wednesday is a color you
usually hate – and even if I prefer not to use grey or brown, I do not hate
them. But some kinds of nudes looks so
terrible on me, and China Glaze Sunset Sail is one of them.
So to make a color clashing against your skin, you
need to find colors that work with the clashing color and your skin, and paint
nail art close to the cuticle line and sides of the nails, this way you draw the
attention away from the obvious clash.
I used acrylic craft colors and top coated with
Seche Vite – but I still removed it right after taking these pictures…

I know what you mean about nude colours - I find that if they're too close to my skin colour they look weird, but if I have the right nude colour, it looks really glamorous and polished. But I don't think this actually looks that bad on you! I also do the painting-around-the-cuticle thing, but being a non-flower girl, I usually just do a ruffian.
