Today I will show you how the back ground can change how you see a set of paintings...
Personally I prefer a frame with passepartout - but here are framing examples without one...
First the set "Flowers on strong green" before mounting
Mounted and framed with a blue/grey back ground
Mounted and framed with a white back ground
Mounted and framed with a kind of wine red back ground
Finally mounted and framed with a white back ground - which one do you prefer?

Besides the fact that your flowers are beautiful as usual, this is actually a very interesting post. Right now, I can't really say which of the different backgrounds I like best with the micro paintings. I'm kind of drawn to white, because the colors pop the most... but also to the red one, because it's very different. ^^
SvarSletThank you so much, Kayono, I'm so happy to hear your thoughts on the back grounds :)
Sletden vinerøde baggrund passer bedste til disse farver. Jeg synes det får dem til at poppe mere.
SvarSletJa, den er ikke dum, faktisk kan jeg egentlig li' dem alle, tusind tak Simone!
SletPersonally, I like them more over white. The drawing's perception is not biased by the background this way and appears more pure. They are beautiful!
SvarSletI think I do too, if I have to choose - and I'm all with you on the more pure look, thanks a lot Criminal Nails :)
SletI like the dark background the best.
SvarSletThank you so much, Helena - It is very interesting to hear your thoughts :)
SletSo pretty!! I love the first one with the roses :-)
SvarSletThank you so much, Lillibit :)
SletI like the dark background best..:-)
SvarSletThanks a lot for your thoughts Ann-Sofie :)
SletI like the white background most, the nail arts pop sooo bright out!
SvarSletThank you so much, I'm happy to hear it *Ky*!
SletI like these over the white! They just pop so much more :)
SvarSlet- and maybe the more neutral back ground makes it a bit more calm...
SletThank you so much, Kas!
I like the black background the best. And I'm looking forward to you coming back!! <3
SvarSletI'm back my friend - and I missed you all too - never would have guessed you preferred the back cough, cough ;)
SletBeautiful...simply gorgeous...:)
SvarSletThank you so much, Puja!
SletI like the blue-grey back ground and roses :)
SvarSletThat's the one I use right now - and it is pretty - thanks a lot Irmak!
SletBeautiful! I love it with the white background and the black background!
SvarSletThank you so much, Traci - and the cool thing is that you can change it to fit your preferred colors in the room :)
SletI like them over the white and as always BEAUTIFUL flowers Maria :)
SvarSletAww, thanks a lot Katie :)
SletLove this design. I prefer the first blue/grey background or the white one :-)
SvarSletI'm so happy to hear it - and I tend to agree - thanks a lot Laura!
SletI like the black/dark grey the most.
SvarSletThank you so much, Katherine, it's so interesting to hear :)

SvarSletThank you so much, my friend - I'm so happy to hear your choices :)
Sletblack background brings the best of these colors :D
SvarSletThey work well over black too, I agree - thanks a lot Zana :)
SletSo beautiful!
SvarSletThank you so much, Meredith Anne!
SletI like white back ground the most :)
SvarSletDeep down I think I do too - thanks a lot zebra-nails!
SletI love it over white! I think the white really puts the focus on the right thing, which is your gorgeous paintings. :-)
SvarSlet~ Yun
I agree, it gives a very clean cut and calm result!
SletThanks a lot Yun!
I think that maybe the colour of the background depends on the colour that you used for your micro paintings, so maybe there is not one and only perfect colour for the background :-) In this case I like it most with the darkest background, of course this is only my personal opinion and my personal feeling :-)
SvarSletI think so too - also what colors you have on your walls and home.
SvarSletI LOVE to hear everyones personal thoughts - thank you so much, Tanja!
