Black Cat Lacquer Bela Lugosi’s Dead swatches - and some personal stuff

Black Cat Lacquer Bela Lugosi’s Dead is from the Halloween 2015 collection. It’s a gorgeous magenta-leaning red holo with micro holo shards and multichrome flakies. The formula was a bit too thick – but manageable and opaque in one coat. I thinned it with 8 drops of Seche Restore and added a second coat + a coat of Seche Vite for these photos. I might want to thin it even more for later use.

OBS: The multichrome flakies looks black in the flash, but they are not in person, it's a really beautiful polish!

I rarely share personal stuff, but it has been a truly terrible week…

In 1993 we had a young cat, Mjavemis, killed by traffic, and in May 2010 we lost Freddie the brother of Findus, both neutered as all our cats are/always have been.
They were the only two killed in traffic - ever...

But last week, we lost two, yes TWO of our cats, killed on the road. Oh I miss them so much. 

First the 8 year old Smilly, who to be honest, didn’t really like other cats, and 3 days later my beloved Ivan just around 3 years (was a rescue kitten). Ivan was such a fun cat, but also driven by super strong desire to hunt, and he had absolutely no respect for cars.

On a positive note: Ivan and Smilly were the only two of our cats, that we ever have seen on the road, we never saw the two oldest Findus and Tyson on the road or on the “wrong” side of it. Tyson aka Tysse is really good at taking care of the kittens, so we are hoping that the three youngsters Snøvsen, Mille and Mons will be guided by him and Findus and do what they do, because this week has been enough sorrow and heartbreak for a loooong time ahead.

On top of that my back broke down really badly, but I am on the mend, and my left wrist is really acting up now for a few weeks, so I must soon drag myself to see a doctor.

Sorry about this rambling, it's not to get sympathy and attention, I simply felt like sharing….
