MoYou London stamping plates review

Where on earth do you start a review of a brand of stamping plates that probably is known to everyone with an interest in stamping?

A brand from which I have 50+ and counting plates from?

I’ll give it a go anyhow in case you do not know MoYou London and/or do not yet own any plates from them.

You can buy them directly from MoYou London (worldwide free shipping over £20) – but they are found an soooo many online shops all over the world, so they are easy to find.
The plates are 6 x 12 cm with vinyl backing, the newer collections with beautiful (and acetone resistant) prints on the back.
They come in cardboard sleeves - see the first photo - with the collection name (different to all other collections also in print) and they have a blue protective film, that has to be removed before use.
The patterns vary in size from very big (where you use part of the pattern) to 1.2 x 1.5 cm for the small patterns to 1.5 x 2 cm for the XL size.
The etching is really lovely, neither too deep nor shallow – just right, also easy to use for beginners.

Even if many of you told me that you love photos of plates, I’m not showing a single one because they are shown brilliantly with looking glass and sorted by collection on MoYou London’s own website!

So I’ll instead show you some of them manis I created with their plates – even some from the very beginning (the "Take XX" number tell how early).

Take 122: The base is Picture Polish Freya’s Cats stamped with Jolifin Snow White, plate MoYou London Suki 07, stamper MoYou London XL Marshmallow Sticky.

Take 128: The base is Emily de Molly Secret Agenda stamped with Jolifin Snow White, plate MoYou London Arabesque 02, stamper Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper.

Pros:
The etching is perfect, also for the beginner.
There are extremely many patterns to choose from.
I love that they have theme based collections and the frequency of new collections and additions to already existing collections.
It’s brilliant that they have the same patterns in plates for shorter nails and in XL plates for longer nails.
They frequently/monthly release either a new collection or more plates to existing collections.
They are easy to get hold of either from MoYou London or from one of very many online shops all over the world.
They show their plates without any distorting watermarks and with an easy to use looking glass to enlarge the patterns – just like most of the other shops that sell them.
Their website is appealing and it’s easy to find whatever you are looking for.
I have not (yet at least) come across a pattern that was difficult to pick up/use, the overall quality is really good and consistent!
In short: From my point of view, they do everything right!

Cons:
None what so ever - period.
*Shut up bank account*

Final conclusion:
I love them – simple as that!
