China Glaze Oxidized Aqua Crackle Glaze over CG White on White and Orly Orange Punch

Yesterday I showed swatches of China Glaze Oxidized Aqua over 22 colors, and wrote that I would do a mani today with the chosen color, see the swatches here. You can read what happened under each photo.

First one coat of OPI Nail Envy org. and one of China Glaze Ridge Filler. I chose China Glaze White on White, and applied two coats. Then to add a little sparkle China Glaze Shooting Stars. But it took ages to dry, and never really seemed to do so, I could still make dent marks, I never experienced anything like it. After an hour I applied China Glaze Oxidized Aqua.
The weirdest thing happened; First of all it did not crackle very well, but even before adding the Seche Vite Top Coat, it shrinked, especially close to the cuticles, leaving a white edge, almost “Ruffian” style.

Først et lag OPI Nail Envy org. og et lag China Glaze Ridge Filler. Jeg valgte China Glaze White on White, to lag.
I decided to start all over with four fingers, and this time only one coat of CG Ridge Filler and one of CG White on White, and for the experiment I used Orly Orange Punch instead of the white on my ring finger. On the middle finger I applied a coat of Seche Vite, to see if that would affect the crackle effect.
AGAIN the CG White on White took ages to dry, this is really, really weird! I have used it before as a base for my “Tiger Nails”, but I did not have the CH Ridge Filler then, so I wonder if they together create this problem on my fingers?
But finally I added a coat of CG Oxidized Aqua, and the result was OK, at least better than “The shrinking experience”.
Men CG White on White ville IGEN ikke rigtigt tørre, højst mærkværdigt.
