I decided to make two Stamping trial and errors this week, so are you ready for 5 more naked truth about my progress (or stagnation) into the world of stamping?
Take 6:
Take 6 Base coat is Glam Polish Attitude is
Everything I continue to play with my 27 new Colour Alike Stamping Polishes. I
used the multichrome B. a Milky Way, and the plate is Bundle Monster BMXL206
(Blogger collaboration coll.) and the stamper is my nameless new clear jumbo
stamper from Rainbow Connection, squishy and nice.
Note to myself: The new nameless clear jumbo stamper from
Rainbow Connection is like made for me – and so are the new stamping polishes
from Colour Alike, suddenly I actually can stamp hahahaha I wore this mani –
and had stamped all 10 fingers!Take 7 "back to earth" version– I decided to practice while swatching, so more takes:
Take 7/one: Base Glam Polish Aries stamped with Colour Alike B a Mint, plate MoyYou Suki 05, stamper nameless clear jumbo stamper from Rainbow Connection.
Take 7/two: Base Moo Moo Signatures Exotic Foliage,
stamped with Colour Alike B. a Lavender, plate MoyYou Suki 06, stamper nameless
clear jumbo stamper from Rainbow Connection. Index and ring fingers not good.
Note to myself: I failed to pick up the Colour Alike cremes as good as I do with the
duochromes and metallics (or Konad cremes), I wonder why. (Edit: I have solved the problem by now, stay tuned for Take 17).Take 8:
Take 8: Base is Colors by Llarowe B*#ch Stole My Look
stamped with Colour Alike B. a Mars, plate Bundle Monster BMS306, stamper nameless
clear jumbo stamper from Rainbow Connection.
Note to myself: This duochrome worked amazingly well, even
really fine patterns transferred to the stamper. I also stamped my right hand,
and it looked really well. And ta-da my right hand :D
Take 9:
Take 9: Base is Glam Polish I don’t do Fashion, I am
Fashion stamped with Konad White, plate MoYou Flower Power 04, stamper nameless
clear jumbo stamper from Rainbow Connection.
Note to myself: Maybe not perfect, but also not bad. I love blue/white combos so much, but maybe the dense patterns are too much in white, hmmm. And the right hand:
Take 10:
Take 10: The base is Glam Polish Starlet or Streetwalker
stamped with Liquid Sky Lacquer Bird of Paradise (duochrome), plate MoYou Suki
05, stamper nameless clear jumbo stamper from Rainbow Connection.
Note to myself: I wanted to try to do two stamps without
cleaning the plate in between, it looked OK on the stamper, but my middle finger
was partially without pattern – otherwise good.
I loved
the duochrome effect on this magenta pink beauty – in some angles it was almost
not visible, but then wow…And my right hand:
So that was my #5 to 10 trials, see #1 to 5 HERE...

Wow!! I don't see any error dear Maria! You have achieved great results and I like also the colour combinations!
SvarSletAww, thank you so much!!!
SletI am enjoying your trials and tribulations, but probably not for the reason you might think. It is fascinating to me to hear your take on the stamping results from an artist's perspective. You have something most of us don't - an artist's eye for color and pattern and design. Anyway, I'm enjoying these posts.
SvarSletAnd, yes, your technical successes and non-successes ring true and are entertaining too! Great idea to do these posts. I'm quite impressed with your ability to keep track of each design's materials & methods used too.
Over time I've developed the habit of cleaning the plate between each stamp - it just works better for me. I use cheap Qtips - keeps my hand away from the acetone.
My favorite from this post is take 7-two - love the combination of base, stamping polish and plate image! Great choice!!
Oh, now you make me blush....
SletThank you so much <3
You know, I'm born in the sign of the Virgo, and we LOOOOVE to keep track of things and make lists and organize ;D
I'm glad you like that combo, thanks a lot!
You are cleary getting there :)
SvarSletIt is better, but still a loooong way to go!
SletI can see you're having fun! And I really love the 6th trial and take 7/two, eight, nine - you're doing very well :) I prefer the squishy stampers btw.
SvarSletLOL yes I am - I love to learn new stuff :)
SletAww, thank you so much!
Looks really good :) You'll see, you're gonna be a stamping queen soon. :D
SvarSletLove, Lotte
Hahaha, thank you so much Lotte - in a year or so maybe ;)
SletLove these posts since I'm thinking about ordering some stamping tools and get started myself. Love that first mani! :-)
SvarSletThanks a lot, I'm happy to hear it, and I'm so pleased you find it helpful :)
SletI started my comment writing that the first stamping manicure "Take 6" is a real success... then I saw that all the other manicures are definitely not errors... not at all...! :-)
SvarSletI think that my favourite is "Take 9", I simply love blue & white combination! :-)
Looking forward to your new post with stamping manicures..! :-)
Awww - that means a lot coming from you - thank you so much <3
SletYou're progressing really fast! I especially like take 10, the colour combo is also cool :)
SvarSletAww, thank you so much - and yes, we both have a weakness for that color, so I also love it!
Sletyou are definitely mastering your stamping techniques just after 10 attempting, you are amazing, my friend ^^
SvarSletAww, thank you so much, you are waaaay to kind - but I love it ;)
SletNice trials specially the last one! Beautiful!!! *-*
SvarSletYes, I also love that one even if it isn't totally perfect!
SletWow, such a great progress.
SvarSletI'm really happy you think so :)
SletEveryrhing needs practice... but this looks good, guess we'll see perfect stamping very soon :)
SvarSletI'm working on it, but I still have a long way to go ;)
SletI love seeing you having fun and getting better and better... great job!
SvarSletThank you so much Joyce!
Slet6 and 9, thumbs up! <3 <3 <3
