Vines for Beth – long lasting mani including photos after 11 days of wear

 

 

The base color is my beloved Models Own Beth’s Blue, and I have previously shown it with other flowers – but now I do it again, this time vines with flowers. They are painted with acrylic craft color and the top coat is Seche Vite.
I wore this mani 12 days 8 on vacation and a few days after – as usual I followed the steps in THIS tutorial for a long lasting manicure. I had one minor touch up repair on one nail during the vacation.

Grundfarven er Models Own Beth’s Blue, som jeg holder så meget af, og jeg har før vist den med blomster – og det gør jeg så igen, blot med en anden slags blomster. Jeg malede dem med akrylfarve før jeg lagde toplakken, der som sædvanligt er Seche Vite.

Jeg havde denne mani på i 12 dage, 8 dage på ferie + nogle dage derefter – og som sædvanligt fulgte jeg trinnene i DENNE vejledning til en langtidsholdbar manicure. Jeg havde en mindre reperation med en lille dråbe lak på en negl i løbet af ferien.

Jeg ved ikke hvormange gange jege kiggede på dette design på tommelfingeren - jeg elskede det. Bemærk det minimale slid på spidserne efter 11 dage...

The theme in this Artsy Wednesday is pastels…
The colors I used are all Models Own. Thumb: Beth’s Blue from the “Ice Cream Sundae” collection, the rest is from the scented collection “Fruit Pastels” index: Banana Split, middle: Apple Pie, ring: Blueberry Muffin, little: Grape Juice.

I painted flower vines in pink and white using craft acrylic paints. The top coat is Seche Vite.

The base color is Models Own Beth’s Blue, and it called with white flowers – as always painted with acrylic colors. I sponged the tips with glitter, and truth be told, I cannot remember which one, sorry about that. The top coat is Seche Vite.

Grundfarven er Models Own Beth’s Blue, og derefter duppede jeg tipperne med en glitter, som jeg desværre ikke kan huske hvad var. Blomsterne er som altid malet med akrylfarve og toplakken er Seche Vite.

I recently bought Models Own Ice Cream Sundae box set
They are all cream colors and I found that most of them are a bit brighter than the bottle show. Here you have them shown in two coats, and as always I'll later show you the colors with nail art...
A quick question: I love to see swatches on your blogs. But nail art is where my heart is, so "real swatches" doesn't quite give me pleasure to do myself. But I like to do them on swatch sticks, because I focus on the color, nothing else - and I try to show them very true to color (if you screen is calibrated correctly).
So how do you feel about this kind of swatches?

Det er creme lakker, og de fleste virker en smule klarerer/stærkere i farven end flasken giver indtryk af. Her har du dem i to lag, og som sædvanlig vil jeg senere vise nogle af farverne med nail art...
Og et lille hurtigt spørgsmål: Jeg elsker at se swatches på andres blogge. Men nail art er hvor mit hjerte ligger, så "rigtige swatches" giver mig ikke længere glæde at arbejde med. Men jeg kan faktisk godt li' at vise farverne på på swatchs sticks som her, fordi jeg fokuserer på farven og intet andet, jeg viser dem tæt på den rigtige farve, hvis din skærm ellers er rigtigt kalibreret.
Så hvad synes du on denne måde at præsentere farver?
