Delaney stamping plates review

Today I have a review of some wonderful and unique plates from the French indie plate maker Delaney, and I have to mention that they also sell one of my favorite brands of stamping polish: Jolifin
The language can be switched to English by clicking on the British flag in the left side menu.
The plates come separately packed without a protective film or a plastic backing. The edges are not sharp.

The plate size is 12.5 x 6 cm (the length is the same as plates with plastic backing)
The pattern size is 2.2 x 1.6/1.7 cm
The price for each plate is 6.90 Euro
The etching is and/or feels a little bit shallow, but strangely enough I always found them easy to use, even when I was rather new at stamping.
Where to buy: As far as I know they only are sold from Chez Delaney.

Let's have a look at some of the plates - click on them to see an enlarged version!

I love their lace plates - so many to choose from and many with a lot negative space in many of them allowing the polish beneath the pattern...
Oh, I love especially one of these patterns LOL - two mani's ;)
Take 87: The base is Nvr Enuff Polish Blossom Valley stamped with Esmaltes da Kelli Flufi, plate Delaney Dentelle A004, stamper Daschica Jumbo Clear Jelly.

Take 89: The base is Model City Wear With Caution 2.0 stamped with Esmaltes da Kelli Flufi, plate Delaney Dentelle A004, stamper Daschica Jumbo Clear Jelly.

I love floral plates in general - but these floral plates are extra beautiful...
Take 114: The base is Glam Polish Waikiki Wahine stamped with Messy Mansion Soft Gold, plate Delaney Floral A001, stamper MoYou London XL Marshmallow Sticky.

Take 115: The base is Lacquester Sleeping Beau-T stamped with Moyra 05 Blue stamping polish, plate Delaney Floral A003, stamper MoYou London XL Marshmallow Sticky.

Gorgeous feather plates - like in super gorgeous...
Take 116: The base is Cirque Oasis stamped with Hit The Bottle The Yolk is on You, plate Delaney Plumes A001, stamper MoYou London XL Marshmallow Sticky.
Take 124: The base is Bow Polish Motivation (magnetic) stamped with Born Pretty Store Gold, plate Delaney Plumes 002, stamper MoYou London XL Marshmallow Sticky.

Twp sea-related plates - I'm sure there will be more in the future...

More #1 in different future (I presume) series: Hibiscus, Animaux (animals), fruits and Feuillages (leaves)...
Take 135: The base is Chanel Sorbet Orange – Orange Sorbet stamped with Hit The Bottle The Yolk is on You, plate Delaney Fruits 001, stamper Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper.

So what do I think?

Pros:
There are incredibly many beautiful patterns, and new collections regularly are added and/or new plates in already existing collections.
Even if the etching is a bit shallow, I already early on in my stamping journey found them easy to use.
The edges aren’t sharp even if there is no plastic backing on the plates – and I actually think plates without backing are easier to clean properly after use.

Cons (only website related):
I don’t have ANY plate related cons, I have bought more times – and will do so in the future!
The plate photos on the website are small – but there is a really nice looking glass to enlarge the patterns after you have clicked on a plate.
I miss information on the plate size and pattern size on the website.
I would love a “newsletter” option, so that I get informed of new collections and sales.

Final conclusion:
I love these plates, they have so many favorite and unique motifs, I hope you give them a try.
As I mentioned, I will be back for more Delaney plates in the future.
On a personal note: I really would love to have Delaney on Instagram…

I hope you enjoyed this NON SPONSORED review.
