El Corazon Aquamarine, Gemstones coll. swatches

El Corazon 423/465 Aquamarine is from the Gemstones collection. It’s a pretty light to medium blue with a lot of holographic micro flakies. The application is easy, and 2 coats are enough for normal use, but I added an extra and finished with a coat of Seche Vite.

Large floral nail art across the nails

The base color is Lacquer Lust Aquamarine, see swatches HERE, and I painted a large floral spreading across the nails with acrylic craft colors. The top coat is Seche Vite.

In this post I have swatches of 5 random polishes to show you: P2 Chilly Breeze, Covergirl Vio-Last, Mavala Aquamarine, BB Couture Apollo and POP Beauty Midnight Minx.

P2 040 Chilly Breeze

P2 040 Chilly breeze is one of the polishes from the Catch The Glow collection. It’s a beautiful sea green with a pretty golden shimmer. It is easy to apply and 2 coats are enough, no top coat is used - I love it!!

Covergirl Vio-Last 300

Covergirl Vio-Last 300 is a medium blue toned purple or dark violet cream polish.

Mavala 154 Aquamarine

Mavala 154 Aquamarine is a strange name for this dusty, slightly murky mint. It has a very subtle shimmer. This is 3 coats with a top coat.

BB Couture Apollo

BB Couture Apollo is an orange cream with a shiny finish. The formula is without problems, the self leveling is good and 2-3 coats are needed. This is 3 coats without a top coat.

POP Beauty sixty seven midnight minx 

POP Beauty sixty seven midnight minx is a burple with a beautiful shimmer. It is very opaque in 1 coat, so that might be all you need. This is however 2 coats without a top coat. The formula is easy to work with and the dry time is good.

Lacquer Lust Aquamarine swatches

Lacquer Lust Aquamarine is from the Birthstone collection and represents March.

Aquamarine is a light and slightly grey (but also ever so slightly turquoise) toned blue linear holographic polish. The holo effect is fairly subtle even in the sun, but I do also see it a little bit in artificial light.

It is very opaque in one coat, but this is two coats with a coat of Seche Vite.

The formula is perfect, the dry time is quick and the finish is shiny. 

What do you think about it - I'm a bit torn, but I did some quite pretty nail art on it, and that made me like it a bit better...

Sinful Aquamarine - a fairly dark medium blue leaning towards turqouise creme polish, very difficult for me to color-edit accurately, but this is fairly close if your screen is calibrated.
