First we have the darkest blue: Strap On Your Moonboots a dark denim blue holographic, very well pigmented and easy to apply.
Next we have Take A Trek, a little lighter blue than Strap On your Moonboots.
Sci-Fly By is the lightest blue of these 4
Don't Be A Luna-Tic is a mix of light blue and light green

The effect of these 4 is pretty much non-existing unless you are in the sun or fairly strong artificial light. But then they are beautiful without being eye-soaring, probably the right choice for you, if you are looking for a more discrete holographic polishes.
I have 5 other colors from this collection, so stay tuned for more swatches, maybe next weekend!
I found these at Pretty Polish, they send to all of Europe!

Chick Cutie Pie, Baby Cakes and the blind passenger Honey Bunch - swatches
I chose to buy two of the spring 2013 polishes from Chick Polish - but those Chciks are outta control, it seems like a tradition now - a blind passenger jumps in the parcel when Julie looks the other way ;)
Thanks a lot Julie for these gorgeous Chicks!!
First we have Cutie Pie - no top coat, but just look at that shine, it's amazing. It's the most subtle mint, almost like a white with a mint hue, but still clearly a very pale, pastel mint.
Application was flawless, and the drytime is super - and this goes for all Chick Polishes I have tried!
Secondly we have Baby Cakes, the most perfect pastel yellow - again with flawless application unlike many other pastel yellow's. I simply LOVE this one, and I showed it with nail art HERE!
Finally we have the blind passenger, Honey Bunch - a beautiful dusty lavender cream polish. It also makes me think of ice cream with berries from the wood.... Thank you so much Julie, once again!

Subtle pastel flowers on pastel - Easter edition
The base
color is The Nail Junkie Daffodil, great for Easter, and with acrylic craft colors I painted a
simple vine with a few flowers, keeping the colors very subdued. I top coated
with Seche Vite. The end result maybe was a bit too pastel in pastel for my winter pale skin…

Grundfarven er The Nail Junkie Daffodil, perfekt til påske, og jeg malede en
enkel blomsterranke i meget afdæmpede farver. Toplakken er Seche Vite. Resultatet blev vist
lidt for pastel i pastel til min vinterblege hud…

The tiny flowers by design
The base color is Color
Club By Design, a gorgeous eggplant purple, I love that shade… I dabbed the
tips with China Glaze Golden Enchantment,
it gives an amazing effect, and painted the delicate flowers with acrylic craft
color. The top coat is Seche Vite.
Vite.

Hanging flowers on baby cakes - Easter
The base color is Chick Baby Cakes, one of their new spring polishes –
I’ll show you swatches on Saturday. As many of you know I have an addiction to
pastel yellows, and this is in my book absolutely perfect!!
I painted
the hanging flowers with acrylic craft color. The top coat is Seche Vite.

Serene snowdrops
I love snowdrops so here you have even more!
The base color is Illamasqua Serenity, a marvelous strong blue, and to
create grass I sponged the tips with Illamasqua
Nurture and a few dabs of Butter
London Wallis. I painted the snowdrops with acrylic craft paint and top
coated with Seche Vite.
Vite.

Micro Painting Monday - 18
Our local artist network, Thyarts, arranged Open Doors 2013 yesterday - and I was one of the 20 artists that opened the doors to the public.
My husband and I have brainstormed quite a lot to create the perfect way to display the micro paintings, and finally we came up with this, and I'm so happy about the result. It's both nice to look at, and it's possible to lock it, so that no one can remove a set of paintings without a key. It can hang on a wall in an exhibition or be placed on an easel like here.
The large ease was placed by the entrance, and smaller table were on tables.
A few not yet mounted on display, and I squeezed in 3 of the sets I couldn't find room for elsewhere...
My workspace....
And finally examples of framing 1, 2 or 3 sets with passepartou - these are part of my private collection.
It was a lovely sunny day, but only 3 cars/5 persons unknown to me + 7 invited friends found their way to my part of the arrangement.
But I have been invited to show my paintings in a huge exhibition with 70 artist from all over the world, sculptures and other kinds of art, the website is not yet ready, and the name is "Grænseoverskridende Kunst" - it runs from May 25th to September 14th - and I'm SO honored to have gotten the invitation!

Picture Polish Wisteria, Mardi Gras and Attitude swatches
Today I have 3 Picture Polish swatches - all available at NORWAY Nails
First we have Picture Polish Attitude, 2 coats, no top coat, a gorgeous dark blue-toned purple with scattered holo effect. It was created in collaboration with Kim from overall Beauty.
Next we have Picture Polish Mardi Gras 1 coat over Nailstation Juicy Gossip, also available at NORWAY Nails It's a pretty 2 sized small glitter in purple and green. It's easy to work with and show without topcoat!
Here Mardi Gras is over Picture Polish Wisteria, also without a top coat.
Finally Picture Polish Wisteria, a BEAUTIFUL wisteria/lilac. I should have used to coats of ridge filler base coat - but as you know I never wear polish without nail art that hides my ridges, one of the *pleasures* of getting old...
Remember to use the code MARIA10 at checkout when shopping at NORWAY Nails - Wenche ships to all of Europa...

Seche Prim & Polished coll. swatches
I picked 3 polishes from the Seche Prim & Polished coll. spring 2013.
I have two of the first polishes from Seche, they smell like paint, and I never wear them.
These smell like polish...
First we have Casually Cool, a delicate baby blue with shimmer. This is one coat, no top coat, so the pigmentation is amazing. BUT the shimmer transforms it's beauty into a gritty finish, so it needs a top coat. I used it with nail art over it and top coated with Seche Vite, but the shimmer did not show up.
I wore it 2 days, and light peeling occurred in less that one day. When I removed it I was surprised to see all the shimmer had sunken to the base coat...
Secondly we have May Be Modest a soft lime green with green shimmer. Again very opaque and the shimmer leaves the beauty in the bottle and dries gritty.
Finally we have Prim & Polished, a powder lavender cream, a pretty perfect color in my book. I could have gotten away with one coat, but this is 2 coats and no top coat.Unfortunately this also started chipping the next day... As much as I LOVE Seche Vite dry fast top coat and couldn't live without it - I really was not impressed by these three...
