Femme Fatale Cosmetics Bodice Lace and Who Is Fairest of Them All swatches

Today I have two of the polishes from the Femme Fatale Cosmetics Snow White inspired collection: Bodice Lace and the thermal polish Who Is Fairest Of Them All? from spring 2015.

Bodice Lace:

Bodice Lace is a violet purple with shimmer, multichrome flakies and small pink hex glitters. It was surprisingly opaque in one coat, but this is two with a coat of Seche Vite.

Who Is Fairest of Them All:

Who Is Fairest Of Them All? is a thermal. It’s a bright pink when cold and a icy white with a blue sheen when warm. It has a blue shimmer and silver holo glitters. I’m pretty impressed by the thermal effect, it really works well – and just not in short moments of transition. Two coats are enough, but I added an extra for these photos + a coat of Seche Vite.

And what are your thoughts on thermal polishes..?
Personally I'm underwhelmed by most because they only are impressive in the few seconds of transition - but I have to say, that this one actually works very well!!

Glisten & Glow Hpnotiq Hurricane, Cocktails Anyone? - swatches

Glisten & Glow Hpnotiq Hurricane is from the Cocktails Anyone? collection. It’s a gorgeous sea green/light teal holo, the exact color I love so much, with a super, super strong holo effect that flashes even as I write this in low indoor light. This is two easy coats with a coat of Seche Vite.

Glam Polish Think Pink Trio swatches

Today I have swatches of the Glam Polish Think Pink Trio: Crystal Couture, Heart Breaker and It’s A Secret.

They are very opaque in one coat, but I show them in two easy coats with a coat of Seche Vite.

Crystal Couture:

Crystal Couture is a mix of bright pink, orchid, silver and lavender holo glitter in a holographic base with purple glass flecks and strong pink shimmer. It’s a glittering party on the nails, and in the sun you seriously are in need of a pair of sunglasses!!!

Heart Breaker:

Heart Breaker is a beautiful berry/magenta pink ultra holo with bronze glass flecks. The holo effect is fully visible in indoor light but I wouldn’t call an ultra holo in the sun, but strong for sure.

It's A Secret:

It’s a Secret is a pretty lavender leaning pink/orchid pink holo with purple and blue glass flecks and pink/purple flakies. The holo effect is very strong in the sun and fully visible in indoor light too.

I love all of them, but my favorite is Heart Breaker, it's magenta and I'm so predictable :D

Above The Curve Ultra Blue Holo swatches

Let's start this Sunday with a bright and strong holo....!

Above The Curve Ultra Holo Blue really is an ultra holo with a super strong effect in the sun, but it’s also super visible in indoor light settings. It’s a medium blue nuance and very opaque in one coat, but this is two with a coat of Seche Vite.

It really IS an Ultra Holo - do you like it?

Chanel Sirocco 34, 2000

Chanel Sirocco 34 was to the best of my knowledge released in 2000, and it’s tempting to assume that it was in the same collection as Morocco 37. It is a quite pretty and a bit difficult to describe color. It has elements of red, rose, ruby, garnet and it has a lot of shimmer. The formula is perfect and this is two coats without a top coat.

Colors by Llarowe Mom Jeans swatches

Colors by Llarowe Mom Jeans is from the Oh Baby collection spring 2015. It’s a very pretty light and bright jeans blue holo with gold flakies. The holo effect is very strong in the sun, but also visible in normal indoor light settings. This is two easy coats with a coat of Seche Vite.
