Chanel Vendetta 483 Bohemian Fantasy collection spring 2009 swatches - Chanel Saturday

Chanel Vendetta 483 was released in the Bohemian Fantasy coll. spring 2009 together with Django 485, and relaunched in the Noir Obscur coll. in the winter of 2009, and it's still being sold. Vendetta is a blackened purple - almost black to look at from some angles...
But from other angles a gorgeous blue and purple shimmer becomes visible...
Chanel Vendetta 483 kom første gang i foråret 2009 i Bohemian Fantasy koll. sammen med Django 485, derefter kom den igen i Noir Obscur koll. vinteren 2009, og den kan stadig købes. Vendetta er en meget mørk lilla, der er næsten sort at se på fra nogle vinkler...
Men set fra andre vinkler kommer der er meget smukt blåt og lilla shimmer frem...

These swatches are shown in two coats and without a top coat. The formula is flawless and is so pigmented that one coat almost is enough. The dry times is OK.
Lakken er vist i to lag og uden toplak. Lakken er let at arbejde med, og den er så pigmenteret at et lag næsten er nok. Tørretiden er OK.

Chanel Coco Blue 551 - Les Jeans coll. swatches - Chanel Saturday

 

As the first post this Chanel Saturday I want to show you Chanel Coco Blue. It was first released in the Les Jeans coll., Fashion Night Out 2011: Coco Blue, Blue Boy and Blue Rebel, all re-promoted with numbers spring 2012: 551, 555 and 553.

Coco Blue was my first Chanel, so I chose her for this second Chanel Saturday together with Elena from PicturedTinsel, see my introduction HERE. And last weekend I also showed you Alchimie, Elixir and Mysterious!
I bought Coco Blue pre-owned, worn once - isn't she pretty..?
She is shown in 2 coats and without a top coat...
Later today I'm showing you Chanel Vendetta, and I have two other Chanels ready for tomorrow!
Som det første indlæg denne Chanel Saturday har jeg Chanel Coco Blue, den kom første gang i Les Jeans coll., Fashion Night Out 2011: Coco Blue, Blue Boy og Blue Rebel, alle kom igen med numre: 551, 555 og 553  i foråret 2012

Jeg købte Coco Blue brugt, brugt en gang - er hun ikke bare fin...?
Hun er vist i to lag og uden toplak...
Senere i dag viser jeg Chanel Vendetta, og i morgen har jeg to andre Chaneller klar!

- the subtle shimmer makes her interesting to look at...
- den lette shimmer gør hende mere interessant at se på...

 

But then it started to dawn on me, where did I see something similar in my stash - ahh, that's right:

Chanel Coco Blue met Nubar Faded Jeans - and they both thought the other one was the prettiest sight ever, so if they have babies, are you ready for adoption...??? ;)

Left/venstre: Chanel Coco Blue - right/højre: Nubar Faded Jeans

- they are very, very close, but I think Faded Jeans has a super light turquoise hue in comparison, and the formula is not as pigmented as Coco Blue...
- de er meget, meget ens, men jeg synes at Faded Jeans har et super let skær af turkis i sammenligning med, og konsistensen er ikke så pigmenteret som Coco Blue...

Ugly doodling on a silver torch

The Base color is Priti Nyc Silver Torch a grayish sand with shimmer. I felt like random doodlings in black and silver, but then I didn’t like it and spiced it up with a coat of inm Northern Light Hologram Top Coat Silver, and then I started to wonder what it would look like with two coats – and here is the result. It’s both a bit weird, but also a little cool maybe, you decide :)

Grundfarven er den grålige sand Priti Nyc Silver Torch. Jeg havde lyst til lidt tilfældige skriblerier i sort og sølv, men så kunne jeg ikke li’ det og tænkte, hvordan det mon ville se ud med inm Northern Light Hologram Top Coat Silver, og da det første lag var lagt, tænkte jeg hvordan det mon ville se ud med to lag. Det er både lidt mærkeligt, men måske også en lille smule cool – hvad synes du???

Flowers for a fancy pants...

The base color is China Glaze Fancy Pants, I looove this color and the gorgeous pink shimmer. To match that I went for pink flowers growing randomly on the nails, and I used acrylic craft color and Seche Vite for my top coat.

Grundfarven er China Glaze Fancy Pants, jeg ELSKER den farve og dens smukke pink shimmer. Jeg malede pink blomster for at komplimenteret shimmeret, og brugte som sædvanligt akrylfarve og Seche Vite som toplak!

Clusters of flowers on the glittery sky

The base color is the pretty pastel blue Picture Polish Sky. I painted tiny clusters of flowers in metallic acryl craft colors, top coated with inm Northern Light Hologram Top Coat Silver before I took these photos. But being used to Seche Vite and how fast it dries, my impatience made me use that too, to get a really dry mani in no time ;)

Grundfarven er den smukke pastel blå Picture Polish Sky. Jeg malede små blomsterklaser med metallic akryl farver, og jeg top coatede med inm Northern Light Hologram Top Coat Silver før jeg tog billederne. Men når man nu er vant til Seche Vite og dens evne til at tørre hurtigt, fik min utålmodighed mig til at bruge den også, så jeg kunne komme videre :)

Nail Pattern Boldness Don't Drop That Spoon involved in a case of swatching and abstract doodling...

This is a mix of swatching and abstract, random doodling - sounds peculiar, right ;)

I don't really know what happend here - it just happened...
I had been swatching the yellow Pretty & Polished Delightful Daisy, and I thought to myself that a side swipe of Nail Pattern Boldness Don't Drop That Spoon would look great on it, so I tried.
It didn't look bad, but it needed more, so before I knew it various stripers were involved, and this was the end result....

I got Nail Pattern Boldness as a surprise polish because I shopped from Edgy Polish on the day they hit 500 likes on Facebook - lucky day to shop, thanks Katarina :)

Picture Polish swatches: Sky, Tiffany and Whimsy

Today I have three gorgeous light colors from Picture Polish for you, the 2 cremes Sky and Tiffany and Whimsey with a gorgeous amount of flecks...
All three are shown in two easy coats, as always the formula is flawless and the dry time is quick - what's not to like about that...?

Sky is a beautiful whitened pastel blue, very pretty and delicate - yet you are not in doubt this is blue...

Tiffany is not your traditional Tiffany blue - it's a super pretty pastel mint cream...

Whimsy is one of the blogger colaboration polishes, this time it's Neverland Nail Blog. I LOVE it, the blue shade is amazing and the golden flecks/shimmer makes it irresistible...

Chanel Mysterious 601 - Superstition coll. fall 2013 swatches

As promised yesterday and earlier today when I showed you Alchimie and Elixir, here I have the last of the 3 polishes from Chanel's Superstition fall 2013 collection.
Chanel Mysterious 601 is a cream in a blackened army/olive green shade - almost black in low light, but even there it makes you wonder what color it actually is.
I was pretty convinced I wouldn't like it, but I love it!
It is shown in 2 easy coats, the formula is flawless and the dry time is perfect, and it dries super glossy, so you do not need a top coat, but personally I always used one!
Som lovet i går og tidligere i dag, hvor jeg viste jer Alchimie og Elixir, har jeg her den sidste af de 3 fra 2013 efterårs kollektionen Superstition fra Chanel.
Chanel Mysterious 601 er en creme lak i en meget mørk army/oliven grøn nuance - den er næsten sort i svag belysning, men selv der får den en til at spekulere på, hvilken farve den i virkeligheden er.
Jeg var ret overbevist om, at jeg ikke ville bryde mig om den, men jeg elsker den!
Den er her vist i to lag, konstistensen og tørretiden er perfekt, og den tørrer med en fantastisk glans, så du behøver ikke en toplak, men jeg foretrækker nu altid selv at bruge en!

Chanel Elixir 589 - Superstition coll. fall 2013 swatches

As promised yesterday in my swatches of Alchimie 591 from the Chanel Superstition coll., fall 2013, today I have the two other shades.
Chanel Elixir's shade of red is not a pink, not a dusty rose, not a brick, not a vintage - but somewhere in between. The swatches I have seen so far lead me to believe it was much lighter, but it is fairly dusty and dark, and unfortunately Blogger changes my colors a tiny bit.
Elixir is very unique, and I didn't think I would like it, but I do!!
Elixir is a cream, here shown in 2 coats, but 1 coat is almost enough. The formula is amazing, it's definitely one of the best ever came across, it was almost self-applying, it's self leveling and dries quickly and super shiny, what's not to like about that - and it's totally worth the price tag.
Som lovet i går hvor jeg viste jer Alchimie 591 fra Chanel Superstition coll., efteråret 2013, kommer de to andre lakker i dag.
Chanel Elixir's røde farve er ikke pink, ikke støvet rose, ikke tegl, ikke almuerød - men noget der imellem. De fotos jeg har set af den indtil nu fik mig til på forhånd at tro, at den var meget lysere, men den er ret støvet of til den mørkere side, og desværre ændres farven når jeg lægger mine fotos op her på Blogger en lille smule.
Elixir er helt unik, og jeg troede ikke jeg ville bryde mig om den, men det gør jeg!!
Elixir er en creme lak og her vist i to lag, men et lag er næsten nok. Dens konsistens er helt klart en af de bedste jeg har prøvet, den lægger sig næsten selv på neglen og udjævner sig perfekt til en skinnende overflade, og tørretiden er kort. Det er da svært at have noget imod!
