The
little mouse peeped out her hole, and on the dinner table there was a new, dark
green tablecloth with golden bows, or was it maybe exotic butterflies. And then
she saw them – there were red berries on it. She felt the craving for red
berries getting stronger and stronger, her mouth started to water.

tænder løb i vand.

This is nothing special, I know. The base
color is 2 coats of China Glaze Glittering Garland, and I planned different
stamping patterns using Konad colors in red and gold on each nail. BUT I had no
idea, that the red would be this hard to see on a dark green, since Konad’s
black is SO well pigmented! On my thumb you vaguely can see, that the flowers initially
have been stamped in red. In despair I changed to gold and one pattern only
(Bundle Monster plate 205), not that it helped much, but it was better. To give
the finish a little edge, I dotted the center of the big bows (possibly exotic
butterflies LOL) with China Glaze Ring in the Red with a dotting tool, and finally
I added Seche Vite top coat.
coat.
It is cute and I like it:)Just a lil tip,if you want colors to stand out on a dark base use white first to draw the design and then go over with the color you want.Hope it helps:)
SvarSletThanks Mimi, then I learned something new today too )
SvarSletSo I stamp in white, and with a brush fill in the gold manually?
I'm not sure double stamping would be så easy, sometimes yes, but with a full pattern, I think I need to be more experienced LOL
You are welcome my dear, yes you can stamp it with white and then use a thin brush (I like to use nail art polishes) and just go over the design.Yeah double stamping could get tricky:)
SvarSletThanks, Mimi, I'll try that the next time, I also could use acrylic paint!!
SvarSletGreat tip! I don't stamp often so lets hope i can remember this when I DO! Beautiful mani!!
SvarSletThanks, Nail Reflections :)
SvarSletAnd me too, after I started using the acrylics, I think that is going to be my favourite.
Oh, and b.t.w. the tip of using a top coat before the carylics is great, it makes it even easier, so thanks for that!
