Chanel Dazzling 477 and Delice 147, Holiday 2007 - Collaboration Saturday

Chanel Dazzling 477 and Delice 147 were released as the 2007 Holiday collection, and I'm showing both in this version of Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel!

Chanel Dazzling 477 is a slightly muted red cream leaning. It is very opaque in one coat, but this is two without a top coat.

Delice over Dazzling:

Chanel Delice 147 is a sheer flakie/shimmer, buildable in more coats, but I primarily see it as a topper. I show it over Dazzling and A England Camelot – no top coat.

Chanel Haute Chocolat 247 and Perlé Rosée 257, 2008 Holiday coll. - Collaboration Saturday

Chanel Haute Chocolat 247 and Perlé Rosée 257 are from the 2008 Holiday collection, and I'm showing both in this version of Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel!

Haute Chocolat 247:

Haute Chocolat 247 is a rich and beautiful chocolate brown with a pretty and really visible golden shimmer. You see it in two easy coats without a top coat.
Haute Chocolat is among the very sought after Chanel's and the price has gone quite high, so I was lucky to get it anyhow...

Perlé Rosée 257:

Perlé Rosée 257 is not really pretty on me. It's a slightly rose-toned nude metallic with shimmer, and it is a little brush-strokey. Two coats are enough, but for these photos I applied three coats – no top coat.

Holiday with flakies and flowers - nail art

The base color is Chanel Holiday 617, see swatches HERE, and I layered with a coat of Nubar 2010 hoping that both the green and orange/copper flash in the flakies would come out and play, but as I feared the green ones grew timid in the company of this bold orange ;)

The simple nail art I painted in acrylic craft colors and the top coat is Seche Vite.

Chanel Holiday 617, Summertime de Chanel 2012 swatches

Chanel Holiday 617 – is from the Summertime de Chanel coll. summer 2012: Island 597, Delight 607 and Holiday 617 - click on the names to see the others.

Holiday is a bold and bright orange crelly polish – perfect for summer or a pick-me-up during the dark months of the year. The application is easy and dry time is good – and the shine is beautiful.

This is 2 coats without a top coat.

Canicule ribbons with flowers for Christmas

The base color is the vintage Chanel Canicule 59, a gorgeous and shimmery red with a little micro glitter. I wore this for Christmas (still am) and I painted simple ribbons and flowers in acrylic craft paint before I top coated with Seche Vite.

By the way I looked up Canicule thinking it might be connected to Canis (dog) in Latin, and it kind of was as “dog-days” is a hot period during summer…

Grundfarven er min vintage Chanel Canicule 59, en super smuk rød med masser af shimmer oget let mikroglitter. Jeg have den på til jul (har den faktisk stadig på), og jeg malede enkle bånd med en blomst på med akrylfarve, og toplakken er Seche Vite.

Jeg var for resten nysgerrig efter at vide hvad Canicule betyder, for jeg tænkte det kunne have forbindelse til Canis (hund) på latin. Og lidt havde det, idet det betyder en hedebølge/varm periode om sommeren, som vi også kalder hunde-dagene her i landet.

Cinema flowers - Merry Christmas!!!

I’m so not in the Christmas mood – the weather is grey, wet and too warm here in Denmark…

The base color is Chanel Cinema 581, and I dabbed China Glaze Twinkle Lights along the cuticle line before I painted my flowers with acrylic craft paint. The top coat is Seche Vite as usual!

Jeg er slet ikke I julehumør, vejret er alt for varmt – hvad med dig?

Grundfarven er Chanel Cinema 581, og jeg duppede China Glaze Twinkle Lights langs neglebåndene før jeg malede mine blomster med akrylfarve. Toplakken er som sædvanligt Seche Vite!

Jeg ønsker jeg alle en rigtig glædelig jul og er godt og lykkebringende nyt år!

Chanel Trapeze 367, Golden Cage Holiday 2009 coll. - swatches

Chanel Trapeze 367 – is from the Golden Cage coll. Holiday 2009.

Trapeze is a bronze-sand with subtle beautiful shimmer and it isn’t too prone to brush strokes. It's not a color I normally would buy, but as you know my mission is to show as many Chanel polishes as possible.

This is 2 easy coats without a top coat. The dry time is good.

Trapeze er en bronze-sand med et let men meget smukt shimmer, og penselstrøg er ikke noget problem, hvis man passer lidt på. Det er nok ikke en farve jeg normalt ville købe, men som du ved er min mission at vise flest mulige Chanel lakker.
Du ser her 2 letlagte lag uden toplak, og tørretiden er god.

Chanel Rouge Carat 587, Les Scintillances coll. Holiday 2011 swatches

The Mondays before Christmas I'm going to show you some Chanel Holiday nail polishes. 

I already showed you: 2013/Rouge Rubis 677, 2006/Eclair 227, 2012/Malice 637, 2010/Pulsion 547 - and last will be 2009/Trapeze 367...
Chanel Rouge Carat 587 was the only polish in the Les Scintillances coll., Holiday 2011.

Rouge Carat is a glowing and perfect red with a glorious shimmer – I LOVE this gorgeous red, and am happy to have at least one back up.

It is opaque in 1 coat, but here you see 2 coats without a top coat, and look how it shines.

The application is a breeze and the dry time is good.

Rouge Carat er en glødende og perfekt rød med et fantastisk shimmer – jeg ELSKER denne smukke røde, og jeg er glad for at have mindst en back up.

Den dækker allerede ved et lag, men her ser du 2 lag uden toplak, og se som den alligevel skinner.

Den var super let at lægge og tørretiden er god.
