Clusters of flowers on the glittery sky

The base color is the pretty pastel blue Picture Polish Sky. I painted tiny clusters of flowers in metallic acryl craft colors, top coated with inm Northern Light Hologram Top Coat Silver before I took these photos. But being used to Seche Vite and how fast it dries, my impatience made me use that too, to get a really dry mani in no time ;)

Grundfarven er den smukke pastel blå Picture Polish Sky. Jeg malede små blomsterklaser med metallic akryl farver, og jeg top coatede med inm Northern Light Hologram Top Coat Silver før jeg tog billederne. Men når man nu er vant til Seche Vite og dens evne til at tørre hurtigt, fik min utålmodighed mig til at bruge den også, så jeg kunne komme videre :)

Today I have three gorgeous light colors from Picture Polish for you, the 2 cremes Sky and Tiffany and Whimsey with a gorgeous amount of flecks...
All three are shown in two easy coats, as always the formula is flawless and the dry time is quick - what's not to like about that...?

Sky is a beautiful whitened pastel blue, very pretty and delicate - yet you are not in doubt this is blue...

Tiffany is not your traditional Tiffany blue - it's a super pretty pastel mint cream...

Whimsy is one of the blogger colaboration polishes, this time it's Neverland Nail Blog. I LOVE it, the blue shade is amazing and the golden flecks/shimmer makes it irresistible...

Break of dawn

Tuesday the 27^th of March, a week ago today,  the sky looked like this from the bedroom window. The sun was just surfacing, actually not as much as here, and the sky was neither grey nor pale blue yet, it was kind of like China Glaze Sea Spray, that I used for the base – not quite, but close enough. The base of the clouds caught the light of the rising sun, and because they were so dark grey the sun reflected red-ish and made them look stunningly gradient red mixed with dark grey. Of course it was much more beautiful IRL, I should have taken a photo, but when I realized that, it was too late…

I used several colors and sponged them on, some I mixed, and I forgot to make a note of which I used.

Tirsdag den 27. marts, for en uge siden i dag, så himlen sådan ud, da jeg lidt i syv trak gardinet til side i soveværelset. Solen var lige ved at bryde fri i horisonten, faktisk ikke så meget som solen på neglene, og himlen var hverken grå eller bleg blå, den mindede om China Glaze Sea Spray, som jeg brugte til bundfarve – ikke helt, men næsten. Skyernes underside blev oplyst af solen, og fordi de varierede i farve mellem meget mørk grå til hvid, reflekterede solens stråler rødligt og gav dem en helt fantastisk rødlig gradueret farve blandet med helt mørkegrå. Det var naturligvis meget smukkere i virkeligheden, men da jeg kom i tanke om at tage et billede var det for sent…

Jeg brugte flere forskellige farver (som jeg glemte at notere), nogle blandede jeg selv, og jeg duppede dem på med et lille stykke makeup svamp.

Nubar Indigo Ocean + Mali-Blue + Baby Blue, swatches & review - anmeldelse

Before my main post later today, I have three beautiful blue Nubar colors to show you.

Før mit hovedindlæg kl. 15 i dag, har jeg fort lige tre smukke blå Nubar farver, jeg vil vise.

Nubar Indigo Ocean is a royal/cobalt blue shimmer polish, I think it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s easy to work with, dries quickly and is opaque in 2 coats, here it’s shown without a top coat.

Later today I'll show you, what I did with it, I'm pretty pleased myself LOL

Nubar Indigo Ocean er en royal/kobolt blå shimmer lak, jeg synes den er særdeles smuk. Den er let at arbejde med, tørrer hurtigt og den dækker fint ved to lag. Her er den vist uden en toplak.

Senere i dag (kl. 15) vil jeg vise dig, hvad jeg malede ovenpå,  jeg er ret tilfreds med resultatet :)

 

Nubar Mali-Blue is a light blue (not like in baby blue) shimmer polish with a pearly, almost metallic finish. It really reminds me of the sky over a silent sea on a sunny summer day. It’s very easy to apply, and it dries quickly.Here you have 2 coats over a ridge filler base coat and without a top coat.

Nubar Mali-Blue er en lys blå (ikke som i baby blå) shimmer lak med en perle, ja næsten metallisk finish. Den minder mig om den blå himmel over et stille hav på en solrig sommer dag. Den er let at arbejde med, tørrer hurtigt og den dækker fint ved to lag. Her er den vist uden en toplak.

 

Nubar Baby Blue is a pale baby blue cream polish with a subtle and very light grey hue. It’s very easy to apply, and it dries quickly.Here you have 2 coats over a ridge filler base coat and without a top coat.

Nubar Baby Blue er en lyst pastel baby lyseblå creme lak med et ganske let gråt skær. Den er let at arbejde med, tørrer hurtigt og den dækker fint ved to lag. Her er den vist uden en toplak.
