Northern Star Trust No 1 swatches

Northern Star Trust No 1 was sent for me to review from Edgy Polish!
It is fairly sheer, so I chose to layer it in one coat over a matching purple cream, and over a dark lilac on the ring finger. I love the cobalt blue flakie glitters, they are petty awesome - enjoy!

Chanel Holiday 617 – is from the Summertime de Chanel coll. summer 2012: Island 597, Delight 607 and Holiday 617 - click on the names to see the others.

Holiday is a bold and bright orange crelly polish – perfect for summer or a pick-me-up during the dark months of the year. The application is easy and dry time is good – and the shine is beautiful.

This is 2 coats without a top coat.

Chanel Delight 607, Summertime de Chanel 2012 swatches

Chanel Delight 607 – is from the Summertime de Chanel coll. summer 2012: Island 597, Delight 607 and Holiday 617.

Delight is a very shimmery, festive bronze-gold, and it is very pigmented, so one coat is enough. This is however 2 coats without a top coat.

Delight er en meget glitrende og festlig guld-bronze, og den er særdeles pigmenteret, så et lag er nok. Her ser du dog to lag uden toplak.

Dior Porcelaine 204 Trianon spring 2014 coll. swatches - Collaboration Saturday

On this Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel I am today showing:

Dior Porcelaine 204 is one of the 4 spring 2014 shades from the Trianon collection: Perlé 187, Porcelaine 204, Bloom 777 and Bouquet 457, I bought the 3 first mentioned.

Porcelaine is a beautiful bright baby blue cream. The formula is nice to work with, 2 coats would be enough for most, but I used 3 to hide my severe ridges completely (and yes, I do use a ridge filler base coat). I did not use a top coat, and it dries with a very shiny finish.

Porcelaine er en smuk, klar baby blå cremelak. Den er let at arbejde med, og 2 lag vil være nok for de fleste, men her ser du 3 lag uden toplak.

Chanel Island 597, Summertime de Chanel 2012 swatches

Chanel Island 597 – is from the Summertime de Chanel coll. summer 2012: Island 597, Delight 607 and Holiday 617.

Island is a not too sheer opalescent, pale beige nude with a pretty pink hue/shimmer, and it is prone to brush strokes, but not terribly so. It might not be a color I would normally wear, but I think it was OK against my skin tone.

This is 3 coats without a top coat, but 2 coats would be OK too, but my ridges nails looks better with 3 coats.

Island er en ikke alt for gennemsigtig bleg beige/nude perlemorslak med et smukt pink skær/shimmer, og den har lidt tendens til penselstrøg, men ikke katastrofalt meget. Det er måske ikke en farve, jeg normalt ville bruge, men jeg synes egentlig, den var OK til min hudfarve.

Du ser her 3 lag uden toplak, 2 lag ville også fint kunne gå, men mine gamle rillede negle ser bedst ud med 3 lag.
