Tinsel Town is a gorgeous steel grey/charcoal glitter polish, with silvery glitters of different sizes, that on the nail blends in a perfect way. To me the buildup of this one looks like the olive colored It’s Alive from this year’s Halloween collection. And I absolutely love them both. It’s easy to apply, and you get the best result with two coats. I definitely recommend a top coat for a smoother surface and the perfect shine, even if I did not use one on these swatches. I have used China Glaze Ridge Filler as a base coat.

Tomorrow I’ll show you China Glaze It’s Alive, and I’ll continue with the holiday colors too.

Tinsel Town er en vidunderlig stålgrå/kul grå glitter lak med sølv glitter i forskellige størrelser, som på neglen blander sig på en perfekt måde. Den minder mig i opbygningen meget om den olivengrønne It’s Alive fra CG’s Halloween kollektion fra i år. Og jeg er helt vild med dem begge. Den er let at påføre, og det bedste resultat opnås ved to lag. Jeg anbefaler helt klart en top coat for at opnå en mere glat og skinnende overflade, men der er ikke brugt toplak/top coat på disse billeder. Jeg har som base coat brugt China Glaze Ridge Filler.

China Glaze Carry Me Away for the Holidays, part of "Let it Snow" 2011 Collection

- is a set with four polishes and the most adorable manicure carrying case with a nail file and room for three polishes and other tools, I simply HAD to have that one! I bought it from Buy Nails Direct and am expecting two of the other sets from China Glaze's holiday collection 2011 “Let it Snow” any day now.

- sættet består af fire neglelakker og en lækker lille manicure taske med neglefil og plads til tre neglelakker og andre redskaber, den måtte jeg eje! Jeg købte sættet fra Buy Nails Direct og venter om et par dage yderligere to sæt fra China Glaze's julekollektion 2011 “Let it Snow”.

Velvet Bow is probably a little bit too vampy for my liking, but I adore the three other colors. Especially Tinsel town, that is the steel grey sibling to the olive Halloween color: It's Alive. I will eventually make "on nail swatches" for you
