F.U.N Lacquer Poinsettia and Poinsettia (H) swatches

Today I have two F.U.N Lacquer polishes for you, or kind of one in two versions, it is Poinsettia and Poinsettia (H).

Poinsettia:

F.U.N Lacquer Poinsettia is a very strongly shifting multichrome that shift between vibrant hues of red, copper, gold, green and everything in between – the shift is seriously strong and visible in all light settings. It is super opaque in one coat, but this is two with a coat of Seche Vite.

Poinsettia (H):

F.U.N Lacquer Poinsettia (H) shifts between the same colors as the original Poinsettia: red, copper, gold and green, but it also has added fine and micro glitter. This also is two easy coats with a coat of Seche Vite.

Redo your first blogged nail art - Artsy Wednesday

 

 

"Redo your first blogged nail art” is the theme of this Artsy Wednesday.

To me nail art is when I do at least a little freehand, and this happened in my fourth post – see the original post HERE

I didn’t really feel in the mood for the olive shades I used back then, so I changed the colors to red and I just had to add a little extra nail art, so I painted flowers and dots with acrylic craft color. The red cream is China Glaze Poinsettia and the glitter is China Glaze Love Marilyn and the top coat is Seche Vite.

Poinsettias on Poinsettia

 

 

 

I prefer the poinsettia in red, but this year a friend gave me a white poinsettia. So first I put on two coats of China Glaze Poinsettia, and then I added a coat of Darling Diva I’m Your Huckleberry to add extra effect. I painted the white poinsettias with acrylic craft color, but I’m not really happy about the inner set of petals of the flowers, oh well, from a distance it looked OK. The top coat is as usual Seche Vite.

Jeg foretrækker røde julestjerner, men i år fik jeg en hvid forærende. Først lagde jeg to lag China Glaze Poinsettia, og derefter et lag Darling Diva I’m Your Huckleberry for at skabe lidt ekstra effekt. Jeg malede julestjernerne med akrylfarve, men jeg er ikke rigtigt tilfreds med den inderste række bronblade, men ja, på afstand så det OK ud. Toplakken er som sædvanligt Seche Vite.

Flowers in a glitter gradient - Artsy Wednesday

 

 

This weeks theme in Artsy Wednesday is a glitter gradient - but you know me, I have a way to sneak in flowers or nail art - and since it's December, I chose traditional Christmas colors.
The base  color is China Glaze Poinsettia and the glitter is Illamasqua Spartan. As usual I painted the flowers with acrylic craft color, and the top coat is Seche Vite.

Poinsettia is a cream polish, a bright Santa suit red, easy to apply, and you could get away with one coat, but it’s even more gorgeous at two coats. I have used China Glaze Ridge Filler as a base coat, but no top coat on these swatches.

Poinsettia er en creme lak, en smuk postkasse/jule rød farve, der er let at påføre. Man kunne i en hastig vending godt nøjes med et lag, men det smukkeste resultat opnås ved to lag.

Jeg har som base coat brugt China Glaze Ridge Filler, men der er ikke brugt toplak/top coat.

China Glaze Carry Me Away for the Holidays, part of "Let it Snow" 2011 Collection

- is a set with four polishes and the most adorable manicure carrying case with a nail file and room for three polishes and other tools, I simply HAD to have that one! I bought it from Buy Nails Direct and am expecting two of the other sets from China Glaze's holiday collection 2011 “Let it Snow” any day now.

Velvet Bow is probably a little bit too vampy for my liking, but I adore the three other colors. Especially Tinsel town, that is the steel grey sibling to the olive Halloween color: It's Alive. I will eventually make "on nail swatches" for you
