Fruity French

Fruit anyone…?
The base color is Essence Banana Joe from the Fruity Collection, an appropriate color as the base for a fruity French… I cut thin slices of my fruit fimo sticks and cut them in half, and with top coat as a sticky base I arranged the fruits, one finger at a time. If had done this mani with the intention to wear it, I would have top coated with Seche Vite, probably to times.
This was by the way my original post for 3D Artsy Wednesday...

    1. Thank you so much, Polish AMOR - maybe you didn't put enough polish under them for them to stick in - and two coats of Seche Vite or similar is a must...

  5. Haha, that looks really funny! How long did it actually last?

    1. LOl truth be told - I removed it instantly, but if I would have worn it, i would have used two coats of Seche Vite - and it would have lasted several days!

    1. LOL all you need is a thin, sharp blade and cut slowly, not all slices come out perfect, but the canes are still long :)

    1. Thank you so much Karen, yes they are. If you cut them in halves they are not so big (obviously) - but I agree that they are kind of dominant when in full size...

  10. It sure looks colorful and fruity :-) And this banana colour is the only kind of "yellow" that I could use :-)
I have these kind of fimo slices, but I think this kind of manicure would be impossible for me to wear, especially at work, it would get distroyed in 5 minutes :-)

  11. I have some fimo I need to try.. but, honestly, I don't know how these kinds of manis are practical. I mean, how do you go to the bathroom with all those things on your nails? lol

    1. Nope - not practical at all, but a lot of nice things aren't. You sure stop picking your nose wearing this LOL
