A England Rose Bower swatches

A-England Rose Bower is from the Burne-Jones Dream collection.

Rose Bower is a beautiful red with a subtle holographic effect, in some angles and light settings with a light magenta hue. It is super well pigmented, probably amazing for stamping – and one coat is enough. This is however two coats with a coat of Seche Vite for some extra shine and glow.

A England Briar Rose aka Sleeping Beauty - Burne-Jones Dream Collection - comparison with Femme Fatale Ruby Hare

A England Briar Rose aka Sleeping Beauty is from the Burne-Jones collection.

Briar Rose is a beautiful magenta cranberry medium red with coarse scattered holo looking like sprinkled stars over the red but it also has a light smoky effect. It is very opaque in 1 coat, but this is 2 coats with a coat of Seche Vite.

It made me think of Femme Fatale Ruby Hare, but as you can see below Ruby Hare is more magenta and it has a stronger holo...

A England Iseult swatches

A-England Iseult is from The Mythicals collection.

Iseult is a pale pink with a beautiful silver shimmer. It reminds me a lot of Chanel Rose Baby 64 from spring 2001, but Iseult is just a tad paler and sheerer I think.

The formula is nice to work with, and two coats are enough if you don’t have severe ridges. This is however four coats without a top coat. The finish is shiny and beautiful.

Pastel floral abstract – or something…

And my right hand wanted a guest appearance, it was even more "loose"

The base color is the pretty pastel blue Manhattan 004 from the Pastel Pretties coll. 2013. Then I painted a triangle of A-England And The Moonbeams… – a golden shimmer to add a little bling. With acrylic craft colors I painted the rest with a loose hand – not really knowing where I would end – but suddenly I ended up with this, and I kind of liked it LOL – do you? The top coat is Seche Vite.

Grundfarven er den smukke pastelblå Manhattan 004 fra Pastel Pretties coll. 2013. Ovenpå den lagde jeg en trekant af A-England And The Moonbeams… - en guldshimmer der kunne tilføre lidt ”bling”. Med akrylfarver og en ret løs hånd og uden en forestilling om, hvad jeg ville ende op med startede jeg, og pludselig endte jeg med dette. men jeg syntes faktisk OK gotdt om det – hvad synes du? Toplakken er Seche Vite.

Prim and polished flowers and the moonbeams…

 

 

 

The base color is Seche Prim & Polished, a perfect lavender cream polish. Before painting the flowers with acrylic craft color I painted one side of the nail with A-England And the Moonbeams, a lovely gold shimmer. The top coat is Seche Vite.

I liked this one a lot...

Grundfarven er Seche Prim & Polished, en smuk lys syren lak. Før jeg malede blomsterne med akrylfarve melde jeg den ene seide af neglen med A-England And the Moonbeams, en smuk guld shimmer. Toplakken er Seche Vite.

Jeg var helt godt tilfreds med denne...

Christmas - Artsy Wednesday

 

 

 

This theme in this Artsy Wednesday is of course CHRISTMAS!

I painted my nails with 2 coats of the gorgeous, deep, shimmery red A-England Perceval, and I painted the Christmas tree and garlands/boughs with acrylic craft paints. The top coat is of course Seche Vite!

Jeg lagde først to lag af den smukke, dybrøde shimmerlak A-England Perceval, hvorefter jeg malede juletræet og guirlanderne med akrylfarve, før jeg topcoatede med Seche Vite.

Elaine and the Devious sideswipe

 

 

The base color is A-England Elaine, and before I painted the tiny roses with metallic acrylic craft colors, I made a sideswipe with make Up Your Face Devious, to create a shimmer effect. The top coat is as usual Seche Vite :)

Grundfarven er A-England Elaine, en meget smuk aubergine lilla. Før jeg malede de små bitte roser med metallic akrylfarve, malede jeg en del af neglene med Make Up Your Face Devious for at skabe en shimmer effekt. Toplakken er som sædvanligt Seche Vite.

From left to right A-England Lady of Shalott, Jane Eyre, Tess D'Ubervilles, Ophelia.
The colors are almost black when they are out of the bottle, but the small glitters give a nice life in them, but still I'm surprised that they are THIS dark IRL...

Black, red, gold dotticure

 

The black color is A-England Camelot and the red dots are made with a dotting tool and Butter London Knees Up – and the gold is Orly Glitz & Glamour. The top coat is of course Seche Vite.

Hiding in the Greyscale

 

 

In my series of Hiding in X I chose to do the greyscale!
The base color is A-England Camelot and I created the camouflage pattern with a dotting tool and OPI Alpine Snow, China Glaze Concrete Catwalk (the very dark grey), Essie Cocktail Bling and P2 Arctic (the super pale grey). The top coat is Seche Vite.
