Black, red, gold dotticure

 

The black color is A-England Camelot and the red dots are made with a dotting tool and Butter London Knees Up – and the gold is Orly Glitz & Glamour. The top coat is of course Seche Vite.

Grundfarven er den sorte A-England Camelot og de røde prikker er lavet med et dotting tool og Butter London Knees Up – og guldprikkerne er lavet med Orly Glitz & Glamour. Toplakken er Seche Vite.

Matte & glossy - Artsy Wednesday

 

This week's theme in Artsy Wednesday is matte & glossy. The base color is the matte China Glaze Stone Cold from the Colors of the Capitol Collection, and I love that one coater. The golden pattern I created with a dotting tool and Orly Glitz & Glamour. I was pretty happy with the result.

Notice how visible my ridges are (and I do use a ridge filler base coat) - Seche Vite is helping me with a much better end result, but a top cat wasn't an option in this mani :)

Udfordringen i denne uges Artsy Wednesday er mat & skinnende.  Grundfarven er China Glaze Stone Cold fra Colors from the Capitol kollektionen, og jeg er vild med den etlags lak. Det gyldne mønster malede jeg ved hjælp af et dotting tool og Orly Glitz & Glamour. Jeg var godt tilfreds med spillet mellem mat og skinnende.

Hiding in metal

 

In my “Hiding in X” series I this time decided to give the metallic colors a go. The base color is China Glaze Midnight Kiss (pale gold), and for the camouflage pattern I used a dotting tool and China Glaze Icicle (silver) + Awaken (gunmetal grey) + Cross Iron (rust/red copper), OPI, Pros & Bronze and Orly Glitz & Glamour (warm gold), and finally I top coated.

I min “Hinding in X” serie har jeg denne gang besluttet at bruge metalfarver. Grundfarven er China Glaze Midnight Kiss (bleg guld), og til kamouflage mønsteret brugte jeg et dotting tool og China Glaze Icicle (sølv) + Awaken (stålgrå) + Cross Iron (rust/rød kobber), OPI Pros & Bronze og Orly Glitz & Glamour (varm guld), og til slut lagde jeg toplak.

Triangular daisies on Blue Year’s Eve

 

 

The base color is China Glaze Blue Year’s Eve. With a dotting tool I dotted a triangle of golden dots starting from the base of the nail with Orly Glitz & Glamous. Then I painted the daisies with acrylic paint – and I top coated with Seche Vite.

It was the mani I did on the 21.th of april, when I took a blog leave, and I wore it for 10 days with only a light tip wear, I’ll make a separate post about this subject on Tuesday.

Grundfarven er China Glaze Blue Year’s Eve. Med et dotting tool prikkede jeg en gylden trekant startende ved neglebåndet med Orly Glitz & Glamour. Til sidst lagde jeg Seche Vite toplak.

Det var den manicure jeg lavede den 21.04. hvor jeg holdt blog fri, og den holdt i 10 dage med kun let slitage på tipperne, jeg laver et indlæg om emnet med tips og tricks på tirsdag.

This manicure was "born" in my mind just like my unplugged nail art. There are however significant differences, since I only used nail polishes and dotting tools, neither acrylics nor brushes...
I still cannot get the "Flowers from Indigo Ocean" out of my head, so I went for the same blue, that resemblances the color that Royal Copenhagen use for their china.
The base color is 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow over my ridge filler, and I used 2 different dotting tools when I applied the blue Nubar Indigo Ocean and a little gold with Orly Glitz & Glamour. The top coat is Seche Vite.

Dette design blev "født" in min fantasi ligesom min serie af unplugged nail art. Men der er nogle store forskelle, idet jeg kun brugte neglelakker og dotting tools, ikke hverken acrylfarve eller pensel...
Da jeg stadig ikke kan få mine "Flowers from Indigo Ocean" ud af hovedet, gik jeg efter den samme blå farve, der minder mig om udsmykningen på Royal Copenhagens stel.

Golden coins from Avalon + A-England Avalon, swatches & review - anmeldelse

These golden coins are found only on the island of Avalon :) They are placed on a bed of the most delicious dark purple I ever saw – it’s 2 coats of A-England Avalon.

I really wanted to enjoy this color, so like I did with Camelot, I only added a simple design with a dotting tool and Orly Glitz & Glamour, and the top coat is Seche Vite.

Disse gyldne mønter finds kun på øen Avalon :) De ligger på et lag af den mest lækre lilla, jeg nogensinde har set – 2 lag af A-England Avalon.

Jeg ville frem for alt nyde farven, så ligesom på Cameletlot lavede jeg kun lidt enkel nail art med et dotting tool og Orly Glitz & Glamour, og toplakken er Seche Vite.

A-England Avalon is an outstandingly gorgeous purple shimmer polish – I absolutely adore it, and I cannot believe, that have I lived without it until now. It’s opaque in 2 coats, almost in one, and easy to work with, but I find the dry time to be a bit slow. I added it over a ridge filler base coat, and used no top coat for these swatches.

A-England Avalon er en helt ubeskrivelig smuk lilla shimmer lak, jeg elsker den, og kan ikke fatte, at jeg ikke har haft den i mit liv før.  Den dækker ved 2 lag, og her ser du den over en ridge filler grundlak, og der er ikke brugt en top coat på disse billeder. Den er let at arbejde med, men tørrer lidt langsommere end jeg er vant til med China Glaze.

Camelot’s simplicity + A-England Camelot swatches & review - anmeldelse

A-England Camelot: When this one-coater ebony black beauty landed on my nails I couldn’t stop staring at it. I decided to go for a simple and not overwhelming pattern, starting out with a large gold circle.

But then it happened – I couldn’t bring myself to do more, and in this case I really felt the truth in the words: “less is more” and added my Seche Vite top coat…

A-England Camelot: Da denne et-lags ibenholt sorte skønhed landede på mine negle, kunne jeg ikke holde op med at stirre på dem. Men jeg besluttede at lave et simpelt og ikke overdøvende mønster, der skulle starte med en stor guld cirkel.

Men da jeg havde lavet den, skete det – jeg kunne ikke få mig selv til at gøre mere, og i dette tilfælde følte jeg for alvor sandheden i ordene: mindre er mere og lagde min Seche Vite top coat…

Kan du lide det – eller er det for enkelt, vær ærlig?

A-England Camelot is raven black cream polish and actually opaque in one coat, beautiful!! I applied 2 coats, it’s easy to work with, but dries a bit slow. I added it over a ridge filler base coat, and used no top coat for these swatches.

A-England Camelot er en kulsort creme lak, der faktisk dækker ved et lag – meget, meget smuk!!! Jeg lagde dog 2 lag over en ridge filler grundlak, og jeg brugte ikke en top coat på disse billeder. Den er let at arbejde med, men tørrer lidt langsommere end jeg er vant til med China Glaze.
