To finish this army green series of unplugged nail art, I decided to mix them all, to make a camouflage pattern – a “now I’m here, now I’m not” look :) I admit, it’s not really a true unplugged. I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze Westside Warrior, and when dry, I used a dotting tool and added randomly (1 color at a time) Zoya Dree, Essie Sew Psyched, H&M Hunt Me Down, H&M Wanna Pepperoni and as the new kid on the block also Essie Licorice. Finally I added Seche Vite top coat.
On the last photo I used Essie Matte about you for at matte finish.

Som afslutning på min armygrønne serie af unplugged nail art, besluttede jeg at mikse alle farver I et kamuflagemønster – et “nu er jeg her – nu er jeg ikke” look :) Jeg indrømmer, at det ikke er ægte unplugged.
Grundfarven er 2 lag China Glaze Westside Warrior, og da lakken var tør, brugte jeg et dotting tool og lavede tilfældige pletter (en farve ad gangen) med Zoya Dree, Essie Sew Psyched, H&M Hunt Me Down, H&M Wanna Pepperoni og som ny i selskabet også Essie Licorice. Toplakken er Seche Vite, men på det sidste billede har jeg brugt Essie Matte about you for at skabe et mat look!
Jo, nu er jeg helt klart parat til at gå på jagt, når sæsonen ellers starter igen ;)

This is unplugged China Glaze Westside Warrior, from the Metro Collection fall 2011, (see swatches HERE). It’s 2 coats over a ridge filler base coat with unplugged nail art in acrylic colors and Seche Vite top coat.

Westside Warrior - China Glaze Metro Collection fall 2011

The fourth swatch today is Westside Warrior. It's a very dark army green, more cold than warm in the nuance. It’s very well pigmented, and you easily can get away with one rich coat. This is two coats over a ridge filler, no top coat. It’s my favorite from this collection, and the first green polish I bought.  
I previously used it in a combo, see it HERE – and tomorrow you can see with unplugged nail art.
Den fjerde lak, jeg vil vise i dag, er Westside Warrior, en meget mørk army grøn, mere kold end varm i nuancen. Den er særdeles velpigmenteret, og du kan let nøjes med et lag. Dette er dog to lag over en ridge filler base coat, og jeg har ikke lagt en top coat. Det er min favorit fra denne kollektion, og den allerførste grønne neglelak, jeg købte!
Jeg har tidligere anvendt den i en half &half kombination, se den HER – og i morgen kan du se den med unplugged nail art.

Bavarian October landscape inspiration - inspiration fra Bayerns oktober landskab

2011.10.20. We have just had a wonderful vacation in the southern part of Bavaria in Germany, and the fall colors were amazing, vibrant greens, olive, earth, rust and with more of the reds, coppers and yellows than in our Danish landscape. It is difficult to put a landscape scenery onto nails, so I decided to focus on the colors, without at all being able to give them the credit, they deserve. This is what I came up with, and yes, I can already see, what I would have liked to do differently :)

20.10.11. Vi har haft en dejlig uge i den sydlige del af Bayern i Tyskland. Naturens oktober farver var helt unikke med grønne, oliven, rustrøde, brune nuancer, men også mange flere røde, violette, gule og kobber farver end vi er vant til i det typiske danske efterårslandskab. Det er svært at omsætte et så smukt sceneri til små negle, så jeg koncentrerede mig om farverne, og dette er hvad jeg endte op med - dog uden at det på nogen måde kan yde det flotte sceneri retfærdighed, og jeg kan godt se, hvad jeg gerne ville have gjort anderledes :)

Used polishes: The base color is China Glaze Westside Warrior. Also used is Nubar Wildlife, OPI Love is a Racket and Pros and Bronze, Maybelline French Wine, China Glaze Below Deck, Art Club stripers: Yellow, Penny Pincher and Youre Golden. Top coat is Seche Vite. I also used a tiny nail art brush for the colors, that were not stripers.

De brugte farver er: China Glaze Westside Warrior som basis farve. Mønsteret er lavet af en mix af: Nubar Wildlife, OPI Love is a Racket + Pros and Bronze, Maybelline French Wine, China Glaze Below Deck, Art Club stripers: Yellow + Penny Pincher + Youre Golden. Top coat er Seche Vite. Desuden brugte jeg en lille nail art pensel.

Half & Half olive combo with a bronze striper

2011.09.22 I suddenly felt that fall was just round the corner, so I chose this olive combo to smooth out that fact.

On the pinkie and ring finger I used China Glaze Peace on Earth, and on the rest I used CG It's Alive from 2011 Halloween collection with it's georgeous glitter, and CG Westside Warrior from the Metro Collection. The striper is an Art Club Bronze, and the top coat is Seche Vite.

I must say, that I fell totally and utterly in love with the combination, especially It's Alive. Had you told me a few weeks back, that I was going to actually like olive green nail polish, I would have laughed long and hard :)
 

Den 22.09.11 følte jeg pludseligt at efteråret lurede lige rundt hjørnet, så jeg valgte denne olivengrønne kombination for at tage brodden lidt af det faktum.

På lille- og ringfinger brugte jeg China Glaze Peace on Earth, og på resten en half & half af CG It's Alive fra 2011 Halloween collection, og CG Westside Warrior fra Metro Collection. Nail art farven er Art Club Bronze, og top coat er Seche Vite.

Jeg indrømmer gerne, at jeg faldt fuldstændigt pladask for kombinationen, især It's Alive, der er en lækker glitterfarve. Hvis nogen nogle få uger tidligere havde sagt til mig, at jeg ville synes om olivengrønne farver på mine negle, så havde jeg brudt sammen af grin....
