The
first movie that came to mind was Karate Kid 3, I have no idea why, but there it was...
On the index finger I painted the little Bonsai that Miyagi planted on the steep cliff side. I should have made it stand more out from the sky. On the middle and ring finger I painted tiny islands/rocks in the sea with trees on, and on the pinkie a cliff side with sparse vegetation. I used Nubar Indigo Ocean for the sea, Nubar Mali-Blue for the sky, China Glaze Awaken for the rock/cliff’s (sponged it on), a very little hint of Essie Pure Pearlfection to suggest a featherlight clouds, and acrylic paint for the rest. Finally I top coated.
The perspective is all wrong, I know! The tiny rocks in the sea should have been smaller and farther out in the horizon, and the little Bonsai is too big.
Check out what the other girls in Artsy Wednesday did in this weeks challenge, we now post simultaneously, so go right ahead: Michelle at Lab Muffin, Alanna at Pretty Purple Polish, Holly at Hooked, Tif at Polished Genious, Lyndsey at Nails by Ms. Lizard, Sofie from Swååfie, Catrine from Unnakednails, Melanie at Nail & Polish, Jessica at Beauty Gnome,
Of course the Queen of Flowers would do the Beatiful Bonzai. This is very serene and calming with the blue.

SletI'm so impressed with how detailed this is! I love how you made the wispy clouds. You must have experience with painting landscapes! Have you done this before? ;)
SvarSletOnly a little in my Christmas story. My friends keep telling me I should do paintings because: You can sell them - but I prefer to keep my paintings on my nails, saves a lot of money not having to buy canvasses too LOL
SletOne benefit of painting on a canvas is that it'll never chip! ;) Nail art is such a temporary art form. Well, maybe less so when you take lovely pictures and blog about it!
