How to follow blogs in the future

As most of of you know by now Google Reader (NOTE: NOT the same as Google Friend Connect) is being discontinued on July 1th.
Personally I never used it, but for those of you who did, there are other options to follow the blogs you love....

Bloglovin' has a new feature, that allows you to import the blogs you follow from Google reader - it's very easy to do, click HERE

You can follow my blog with Bloglovin' by clicking the "Follow this blog with Bloglovin'" widget in the right hand menu...

P2 Volume Gloss swatches: Heavenly Girl, Fresh Sister, Sweet Darling and Red Lady

P2 (only available in DM drugstores in Germany) recently launched a new line called Volume Gloss, the brush is flat and rounded and easy to use, and the finish is really nice and glossy.
Above you see the 4 polishes I picked, left to right: Heavenly Girl, Fresh Sister, Sweet Darling and Red Lady.
The swatches are all in two coats and without a top coat.

Heavenly Girl is a gorgeous pastel/light blue...

Fresh sister is a pistachio kind of mint....

Sweet Darling is lovely lavender.

Red Lady is just that - a beautiful, bold and red lady...

Do you like them...?

Isadora swatches: Marzipan, Persian Princess and Icy Lilac

Here are 3 of my Isadora polishes - I love their quality and the dry time is good...

First we have the gorgeous spring green cream called Marzipan - I really love this fresh green color!
2 coats, no top coat..

Secondly the gorgeus purple shimmer polish called Persian Princess - a beauty, right??
Again 2 coats - no top coat...

The last is the lovely lilac called Icy Lilac packed with shimmer. BUT it is shown over a white polish. IMO it pops much better that way - and it's 2 coats and no top coat.

Flawless application, quick dry time and good wear - more than approved!

Flowers in my snowcone

Today I have some quick nail art for you. The base color is ONE coat (YES!) of Orly Snowcone and over it I added a coat of P2 Glamorous Finish Holo top coat 040 Just Fantastic! – and it was so visible and pretty in person! I painted flowers with acrylic craft color – I mixed orange with metallic red to create a burnt orange – and top coated with Seche Vite.

Vanilla flower prisms

The base color is the pale pastel yellow from the LE Candy Shock coll. from Catrice called C04 Vanilla Love. I painted one half of each nail with Illamasqua Prism, to make a shimmery blue background for my different kinds of blue flowers, that I painted with acrylic craft color. The top coat is Seche Vite.

Patches on my nails - Artsy Wednesday

The theme in this Artsy Wednesday is sewn patches...
I chose the blood red Rush Hour from NCLA as my base color, and my patches are many and in different kinds of ragged fabric, because I'm so poor - I spend all my money on nail polish none on clothes :)
I used white nail polish and acrylic craft color for the patches, and I top coated with Seche Vite.
C
heck out the other girls Artsy Wednesday mani's

Michelle - Lab Muffin
Melanie - Nail & Polish
Emily - An Accent Nail
Catrine - Unnakednails
Ameerah - Valiantly Varnished
Wendy - M.A.S.P.O.O.A.S.E.

Mint Polish swatches: Dirty Shirley and Original Mint

I have a lot of swatches, so no nail art today.
But I do have two gorgeous polishes from MINT POLISH (unfortunately they only ship within USA) that I got through this amazing swap with my dear friend and polish "sister" Lydia!
I can tell you right now, I'm in love with these well pigmented polishes, both from the collection "One coat wonders" - and that is true!

First we have Mint Polish Dirty Shirley - an AMAZING polish, described like this by the maker: "This bright and incandescent pink has fruity hints of maraschino and a gorgeous pearlescent sheen in the sunlight. Inspired by a best friend's cocktail of choice, Dirty Shirley is a classic pink with a kick."
It was opaque in one coat only - but I did use two for these swatches. Dry time is good, the formula is perfect - and this color went right into my hot pink top favorite list - its quite amazing....!

Next we have Mint Polish Original Mint, also in two coats, even if one rich coat would have been enough. The maker describes it like this: "Part Tiffany's blue, part spearmint candy, and 100% gorgeous. Original Mint is a statement color, and the perfect addition to any polish collection." - to me it's a slightly dusty, greenish mint, not as bright as I prefer a mint - but very pretty anyhow!
Dry time and the formula was good - so I'm very happy with both!

Do you like them as much as I do??

Catrice swatches: I Scream: Ice Cream, Play it Blue and Vanilla Love from the Candy Shock coll, Earnie & Birdy and Denim Moore

Today I have 5 Catrice polishes to show you!
Catrice I Scream: Ice Cream, Play it blue and Vanilla Love from the Candy Shock coll, I have worn them all with nail art on, and I enjoyed every second, so I look forward to show the designs...
Furthermore I have Earnie & Birdy and Denim Moore for you!
All shown in two easy coats without a top coat...

Catrice I Scream: Ice Cream is a super pale lilac with a pretty, but shy shimmer - I loved wearing it with nail art on...

Catrice Play it blue is super pale pastel blue with a matte finish.

Catrice Vanilla Love from the LE Candy Shock coll., it's a pale pastel yellow with a super shy shimmer.

Catrice Earnie & Birdy was a bit difficult to color-correct - it's kind of a richer pastel yellow - not really pastel - and not really "just" yellow, if that makes sense... It has a subtle shimmer, not very visible on the nail.

Catrice Denim Moore is a medium denim blue, slightly dusty in a nice way, and it has a lovely shimmer.

What do you think of these - do you like them...?
