Dior 970 Nuit 1947 - swatches and comparison

Dior Nuit 1947 is from the fall 2013 collection called Rouge Dior. There are 4 nail polishes in this collection: 999 Rouge, 657 Trafalgar, 653 Darling and 970 Nuit 1947.
It is a dark, vampy blackened red, it's gorgeous.
The formula is perfect even if it is a jelly or maybe crelly, the dry time is good, but I am not in love with the wide brush - or any other wide brush for that matter...

I do not know what is going on! Blogger changes my red colors :( The true color is like the first 2-3 photos, on this and some of the below photos the polish looks patchy, but it is not - neither in person nor on my photos... If you are a Blogger blogger, have you noticed this too...?

 - the hidden shimmer reveals itself in a close up...

 - it looks patchy, but again it did no do that in person - nor on my own photos - Blogger seriously messes with my red shades...

- as you can see Dior Nuit 1947 is extremely close to Chanel Rouge Noir, in person you cannot tell the difference. The Dior being a crelly/jelly is of course a little less pigmented, but nothing you notice in person...

Chanel Lotus Rouge 455 fall 2007 swatches

Chanel 455 Lotus Rouge – was originally released fall 2007, but it is still being sold. The other fall 2007 polishes were the 3 limited editions: Lily Beige 451, Magnolia Rose 453 and Tulipe Noir 457.

Lotus Rouge is a vampy blood red creme polish with an amazing shine.

Here you see 2 easy coats with an amazing formula and a quick dry time – I love it!!

Chanel 455 Lotus Rouge – blev oprindeligt udgivet i efteråret 2007, men sælges stadig. De øvrige efterårslakker var limited editions: Lily Beige 451, Magnolia Rose 453, Tulipe Noir 457. 

Lotus Rouge er en vampet blodrød cremelak med en fantastisk skinnende finish.

Den er her vist i 2 lette lag på grund af den fantastiske konsistens og en hurtig tørretid – jeg elsker den!!

Chanel Peche Nacree 515 swatches

Chanel Peche Nacree 515 – is from the spring 2011 coll.: Les Perles de Chanel, that includes Black Pearl 513, Pearl Drop 511 and Peche Nacree 515.

It’s a pearly pastel peach, bringing me memories of old-fashioned salmon colored under wear and it's not really my kind of color, even if it surprisingly enough isn't a total clash against my skin tone. But it is my mission to show as many different Chanels on my blog as possible :)
There is visible white nail line in two coats, so these swatches are in 3 easy coats, without a top coat and the dry time is good.

Chanel Peche Nacree 515 – er fra forårskollektionen i 2011, Les Perles de Chanel, der inkluderer Black Pearl 513, Pearl Drop 511 and Peche Nacree 515.

Det er en perlemors ferskenfarve, som giver mig associationer om gammeldags, laksefarvet undertøj... Det er ikke rigtigt min farve, uden at det dog er en total katastrofe mod min hudfarve. Og det er min mission at vise så mange Chaneller på bloggen som muligt!
Dette er 3 lag uden toplak, du kan sagtens nøjes med 2 lag, hvis du kan leve med en svagt synlig tip. Den er let at påføre og tørrer godt.

Chanel Organdy 165 swatches

Chanel Organdy 165 – I have not been able to find any info about neither collection nor year and/or season year of release – can you help me...?
Organdy is a pale pink, not at all in-your-face-pink, very subdued. 
Unfortunately Blogger changes this pink color to a hot pink if I change the size from medium to large - so that's why the photos are smaller than usual. At least they are color accurate.

It's easy to apply and work with, and is shown without a top coat. I would call this a 2-coater, you might prefer 3 coats like on these photos!

Chanel Organdy 165 – jeg har ikke kunnet finde oplysninger om hverken hvilken kollektion den tilhører, udgivelses år eller årstid for den – kan du hjælpe mig…?
Organdy er en lidt bleg lyserød, der på ingen måde virker som en pangfarve - den er afdæmpet.
Desværrer ændrer Blogger denne farve til en hot pink, hvis jeg ændrer billedstørrelsen fra medium til stor - så det er grunden til at billederne er mindre end normalt, men de er farveakkurate.

Den er let at lægge og arbejde med. Den er vist uden toplak, og jeg vil kalde den en 2-lags, men måske foretrækker du 3 lag som på disse fotos!

Chanel Provocation 599 swatches - Chanel Saturday

Welcome to a new Chanel Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel - and this is the first of 4 Chanel posts this weekend!
Provocation 599 – was first released (without number) as a part of the Fashion's Night Out 2012 trio that also included Delicatesse and Infidele, but now it is part of the permanent selection.

It’s a red-toned eggplant purple cream polish, and in some lights it has a brown hue.

The formula is flawless and almost self applying with a good dry time. It can easily be used as a one-coater, but this is 2 coats without a top coat – and that Chanel shiny finish is hard not to like.

Velkommen til en ny Chanel Saturday sammen med min veninde Elena fra PicturedTinsel - og dette Chanel indlæg er det første af 4 denne weekend!
Provocation 599 – udkom første gang uden nummer som del af Fashion's Night Out 2012 trioen, der også inkluderer Delicatesse og Infidele, men er nu fast i sortimentet.

Det er en smuk rødtonet auberginelilla creme lak, der i visse belysninger også har et brunt skær.

Du kan sagtens nøjes med et velpåført lag, men den er her vist i 2 lag, uden toplak. Den er meget let at påføre, tørrer hurtigt, og den har en skinnende finish.
Så du forresten mine swatches af de splinter nye Magic og Cosmic fra Fashion Night Out 2013 i går...?

Chanel Cosmic - Fashion Night Out 2013 - swatches

Chanel Cosmic is from the duo set including Cosmic and Magic from Vouge's Fashion Night Out 2013 - and I was lucky to grab it at a slightly humane price on Ebay.

Cosmic, here shown in 2 coats, is back with silver flecks, the formula is perfect, the dry time is good and the shine without a top coat is fantastic.
Chanel Cosmic er fra duosætter der indeholder Cosmic og Magic fraVouge's Fashion Night Out 2013 - og jeg var heldig at finde dem til et lettere human pris på Ebay.

Cosmic, her vist i to lag, er sort med sølv flecks, konsistensen er perfekt, den er let at påføre og tørretiden er god. Og dens naturligt skinnende finish uden toplak er fantastisk.

Chanel Magic - Fashion Night Out 2013 - swatches and comparison

Chanel Magic is from the duo set including Cosmic and Magic from Vouge's Fashion Night Out 2013 - and I was lucky to grab it at a slightly humane price on Ebay.
Later today I will show you Cosmic, that is the most interesting of the two.
Magic, here shown in 2 coats, is a dark navy blue cream, the formula is perfect, the dry time is good and the shine without a top coat is fantastic.
But is DOES look a lot like Chanel Blue Rebel, see my comparison below.
Chanel Magic er fra duosætter der indeholder Cosmic og Magic fraVouge's Fashion Night Out 2013 - og jeg var heldig at finde dem til et lettere human pris på Ebay.
Senere i dag vil jeg vise Cosmic, der er den mest interessante af de to.
Magic, her vist i to lag, er en mørk navyblå, konsistensen er perfekt, den er let at påføre og tørretiden er god. Og dens naturligt skinnende finish uden toplak er fantastisk.
Men den LIGNER Chanel Blue Rebel meget, se min sammenligning nedenstående.

As you can see Blue Rebel is very close - it is however very slightly lighter and a tad dusty compared to Magic, but in low light I cannot tell them apart....
