El Corazon Tsunami and Manhattan swatches

Today I have two polishes from the El Corazon from the Nail Party collection.

They are SUPER opaque in one coat, definitely one coaters and I bet they are great stamping polishes. They are however shown in two coats without a top coat.

Tsunami:

El Corazon 423/623 Tsunami is a beautiful royal blue with a slight purple hue, but it doesn’t feel like a blurple. It’s like wearing beautiful shimmery velvet.

Manhattan:

El Corazon 423/629 Manhattan is a gorgeous dark cherry red with a gorgeous shimmer – almost glowing in the sun.

Random Manhattan swatches: Redtastic 03/3134AB, 71S/434905 and 65W/4012

In this post I have three random Manhattan polishes, bought in Germany...

Redtastic:

Redtastic 03/3134AB is a beautiful, bright coral red loaded with beautiful shimmer. 2 coats is enough, but this is 3 coats without a top coat.

71S/434905:

71S/434905 is a grey-toned pastel mint base with micro glitters in various colors. This is 2 coats without a top coat.

65W/4012:

65W/4012 is a dark warm-toned wine/eggplant purple cream with a super shiny finish, again 2 coats without a top coat.

Manhattan 006 The Wow Show, Bonnie Strange collection

Manhattan The Wow Show 006 – is one of the six polishes in the Bonnie Strange collection, fall 2013.

The Wow Show is a gorgeous dark purple-wine-red with loads of golden and red or pink shimmers. It is a near dupe of Dior Minuit, I think Minuit is a bit more on the purple side – but they are very, very close!

This is two coats with a coat of Seche Vite.

Manhattan Community Colours coll. swatches: My Magnolia and Limmering Lime

In my swap with Denise, I got two of the colors from Manhattan Community Colors Coll. 2013.

First we have My Magnolia - a medium bordeaux with tons and tons of shimmer...
This is two easy coats - no top coat.

Limmering Lime is a fairly cold-toned medium green with a lot of gorgeous shimmer.
And like before this is two easy coats - no top coat.

Manhattan is available in Germany, I'm not sure if it can be bought in other countries.

Later today I'm showing Chanel Malice - a gooorgeous shimmery, deep red!

Pastel floral abstract – or something…

And my right hand wanted a guest appearance, it was even more "loose"

The base color is the pretty pastel blue Manhattan 004 from the Pastel Pretties coll. 2013. Then I painted a triangle of A-England And The Moonbeams… – a golden shimmer to add a little bling. With acrylic craft colors I painted the rest with a loose hand – not really knowing where I would end – but suddenly I ended up with this, and I kind of liked it LOL – do you? The top coat is Seche Vite.

Grundfarven er den smukke pastelblå Manhattan 004 fra Pastel Pretties coll. 2013. Ovenpå den lagde jeg en trekant af A-England And The Moonbeams… - en guldshimmer der kunne tilføre lidt ”bling”. Med akrylfarver og en ret løs hånd og uden en forestilling om, hvad jeg ville ende op med startede jeg, og pludselig endte jeg med dette. men jeg syntes faktisk OK gotdt om det – hvad synes du? Toplakken er Seche Vite.

The base color is Manhattan 003 from the Pastel Pretties coll. 2013. The flowers are as usual painted with acrylic craft color and Seche Vite as the top coat.

Grundfarven er Manhattan 003 fra Pastel Pretties coll. 2013. Som sædvanligt er blomsterne malet med akrylfarve og toplakken er Seche Vite.

Vintage random roses - Artsy Wednesday

 

 

The theme this Artsy Wednesday is “vintage” – and that made me think of roses…
The base color is the pale pastel yellow Manhattan 001 from the Pastel Pretties coll. 2013. I added Misslyn 753 star dust top coat to the areas I later painted my leaves on roses on – as usual with acrylic craft colors, and the top coat is Seche Vite.

Temaet denne Artsy Wednesday er ”vintage” – og det fik mig til at tænke på roser…

Grundfarven er Manhattan 001 fra Pastel Pretties coll. 2013. Jeg brugte Misslyn 753 star dust top coat på de dele af neglene, hvorpå jeg senere malede bladene og roserne, og toplakken er som sædvanligt Seche Vite.

So here they are, the polishes that I bought for myself during my week en the southern parts of Germany.... Polish in Denmark is incredibly expensive, so I tend to shop like a mad woman when I go to Germany, there I said it myself ;)

From Manhattan I was lucky to find the 3 from the Pastel Pretties LE coll. that I wanted: 001, 004, 003, (see swatches HERE) and the other 3 are: 26S, 18S and from the retired LE coll. Lollipop Alpenrock I found 02 - oh I wish they had real names, not just numbers...

I had to own these new and absolutely gorgeous P2 Volume Gloss polishes:100 heavenly girl, 130 fresh sister, 030 sweet darling and 090 red lady

More P2: 030 Sweet harmony (Let's Rock coll.), 620 artful, 650 fever, 570 so cool! and 030 tangerine twist from the Summer Attack coll.

I found two Essence from the Floral Grunge coll that I hoped to find: 03 Grunge Me Tender "The Suede" and 02 Lily Bloom "The Pearl", I also found the Essence Nail Art Twins that I hoped to find: Edward & Bella - and finally I had to grab 149 Hello Marshmellow!

Two new brands in my collection: Beyu 246 and 516 - Misslyn 753 Star Dust top coat and 674

LCN is also a new brand in my collection these two pretty blue's are Cat Clouds and Blue Lily Cat. Astor Fashion Studio 240 Yellow Buttercup is my first Astor - and finally Maybelline 615 Mint For Life.

I only found two from the Catrice Candy Shock coll., (swatches on Saturday) if anyone can help me with the pastel purple I Scream: Ice Cream - I would be happy? They are C02 Play It Blue, C04 Vanilla Love and the 2 Isadora polishes: Miami Blue and Meadow.
