After the gorgeous Chanel Holographic earlier today I have a pastel yellow overload...
As some of you you know I LOVE pastel yellow polishes, and I buy every single one that I can lay my hands on - not the yellows, only the pastel yellows!
So in this post you will meet 5 pastel yellows from: Claire's, Etude House, Innisfree, Kleancolor and Rival de Loop.
Claire’s (without any name):
Claire’s (without any name) is a pretty pastel yellow creme in the pale end. The formula is easy to work with, but somewhat sheer, so I ended up with 4 coats to hide my ridges (even if I applied 2 coats of ridgefiller), but on normal nails 3 coats would be enough. The good news is however that the self leveling is surprisingly good and even if it dries shiny, 4 coats takes time to dry, so a fast drying top coat is recommended.Etude House Ice Cream Nails #BE101:
Etude House Ice Cream Nails #BE101 is one of the cute ice cone shaped polishes from Etude House. It’s NOT really a pastel yellow, more a yellow leaning towards pastel yellow. The formula is without any problems, 2 coats would be enough, but because of my ridges I chose to show it in 3 coats without a top coat.
Innisfree Eco Nail Color #10:
Innisfree Eco Nail Color #10 is another pretty pastel yellow cream polish. The formula is easy to work with, the dry time and self leveling is good and 2 coats are enough in most cases. This is however 3 coats without a top coat.
Kleancolor 143 Pastel Yellow:
Kleancolor 143 Pastel Yellow is IMO a lemon pastel yellow creme. This is 3 coats with a top coat, 2 coats would be enough. It’s easy to apply, dries somewhat slow, the self leveling is neither good nor bad – but I cannot stand the smell.
Rival de Loop 481H:
Rival de Loop 481H is a sweet pastel yellow. The formula is nice to work with, a bit on the sheer and slightly thin side. 3 coats are needed, but I ended up doing 4 coats without a top coat, so the self leveling ability is really good.
So - do you like them?
Any favorites..?
If you aren't into pastel yellows - maybe you like Chanel Holographic that I showed earlier today ;)
