Four shades of purple – Swatch Spam

Here you have 4 random purple shades from NYC and Mavala. NYC: 273 Midnight Lilac and 261 Pure Orchid + Mavala: 305 Samarkand and 30 Mexico.

Midnight Lilac:

NYC 273 Midnight Lilac is a beautiful lilac with a subtle shimmer, opaque in one coat, but this is two with a top coat.

Pure Orchid:

NYC 261 Pure Orchid is a pretty purple cream, and this is two with a top coat.

Samarkand:

Mavala 305 Samarkand is a beautiful medium purple cream. 

Mexico:

Mavala 30 Mexico is an eggplant purple with a subtle shimmer (only visible in the sun), just enough purple not to look black on the nails. I’m showing it in 2 coats with a top coat.

In this post I have swatches of 5 random polishes to show you: P2 Chilly Breeze, Covergirl Vio-Last, Mavala Aquamarine, BB Couture Apollo and POP Beauty Midnight Minx.

P2 040 Chilly Breeze

P2 040 Chilly breeze is one of the polishes from the Catch The Glow collection. It’s a beautiful sea green with a pretty golden shimmer. It is easy to apply and 2 coats are enough, no top coat is used - I love it!!

Covergirl Vio-Last 300

Covergirl Vio-Last 300 is a medium blue toned purple or dark violet cream polish.

Mavala 154 Aquamarine

Mavala 154 Aquamarine is a strange name for this dusty, slightly murky mint. It has a very subtle shimmer. This is 3 coats with a top coat.

BB Couture Apollo

BB Couture Apollo is an orange cream with a shiny finish. The formula is without problems, the self leveling is good and 2-3 coats are needed. This is 3 coats without a top coat.

POP Beauty sixty seven midnight minx 

POP Beauty sixty seven midnight minx is a burple with a beautiful shimmer. It is very opaque in 1 coat, so that might be all you need. This is however 2 coats without a top coat. The formula is easy to work with and the dry time is good.
