Chanel Riva Cote d’Azur collection fall 2010 swatches

Chanel Riva – was the only polish in the Cote d’Azur coll. fall 2010.

Riva is a sheer dusty pastel blue with a light hint of grey and gorgeous blue shimmer. It takes 3 generous coats for full opacity as on these swatches. I did not use a top coat. I am thinking that this probably also would be very pretty with white underwear.

This was the last of the Chanel polishes released in 2010 - so I have now shown all the 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Chanel polishes + many older ones - totally 132 so far.

Sinful swatches: Flutter and Cream Pink

Today I have two pinks from Sinful - a delicate and a hot...

Sinful Flutter is a delicate pink with lots of shimmer. It is sheer and can of course be used as subtle 1 coater, but here you see 3 coats without a top coat.

And a hot and bold one...

Sinful Cream Pink is a gorgeous hot pink with a subtle shimmer. This is 2 coats without a top coat.

Chanel Tulipe Noire 457 fall 2007 swatches

Chanel Tulipe Noir 457 – is a fall LE from 2007: Lily Beige 451, Magnolia Rose 453, Tulipe Noire 457 and Lotus Rouge 455, the latter was not an LE and is still available.

Tulipe Noir is a gorgeous, vampy, dark wine red with a beautiful shimmer.

It is very opaque, so one rich coat is enough, but here you see 2 coats without a top coat.

Do you like this vampy gorgeousness...?

Chanel Magnolia Rose 453 fall 2007 swatches

Chanel Magnolia Rose 453 – is a fall LE from 2007: Lily Beige 451, Magnolia Rose 453, Tulipe Noire 457 and Lotus Rouge 455, the latter was not an LE and is still available.

Magnolia Rose is a pale white-toned pink polish with a pretty, but fairly subtle shimmer. This is 3 coats without a top coat, but on normal nails (not heavily ridged like mine) 2 coats is enough.

Dior Rouge Massai - Masai Red swatches - Collaboration Saturday

My friend Elena from PicturedTinsel and I have new swatches prepared for you, it's time for Collaboration Saturday!

I am showing:

Dior Rouge Massai - Masai Red (have also seen bottles where it is Massai Red) - is a gorgeous dark blood red shade, and it belongs to the permanent range.
It is fairly opaque in 1 coat, but here you see 2 coats without a top coat.

Do you like this dark red..?
I have the feeling Elena is showing something similar, let's go and have a look...!

Chanel Lily Beige 451 fall 2007 swatches

Chanel Lily Beige 451 – is a fall LE from 2007: Lily Beige 451, Magnolia Rose 453, Tulipe Noire 457 and Lotus Rouge 455, the latter was not an LE and is still available.

Lily Beige is a nude with a pretty shimmer, you can use it as a sheer one-coater, but because of my ridges I chose to show it in 3 coats – but without a topcoat.

Super quick nail art

The base color is Color Club Harp On It, see swatches HERE – and I wanted just a little nail art on it, so that I still could enjoy it’s beauty – so here it is, a few stripes and dots painted with acrylic craft colors, and the top coat is Seche Vite.

Make Up Store Doreen and Emilia swatches

Two random Make Up Store polishes, both shown in two coats, both a bit on the sheer side.
Formula and dry time is good.

Make Up Store Doreen is a mix of copper and pink shimmers in a red jelly, on the nails it seems a bit more pink than the photos show...

Emilia:

Make Up Store Emilia is a bold and bright orange with crelly tendencies...

What do you think of these...?
While I don't dislike them, I still decided that they need a new home.

Vertigo party floral nail art

The base color is Chanel Vertigo 60, and I dabbed China Glaze Party Hearty on the upper half of each nail. Then I randomly sprinkled some white flowers painted in acrylic craft colors and finally I top coated with Seche Vite.

OK - if this makes you think Christmas, it's not all wrong, I wore it around Christmas...

Kiko 385 Pastel Blue and 386 Light Pastel Blue - swatches

Two blue Kiko polishes - both shown in 2 coats without a top coat...

Kiko 385 Pastel Blue – hmmm in my mind this electric blue, ah well – it’s gorgeous no matter what...

and onto the Light Pastel Blue...

Kiko 386 Light Pastel Blue is of course lighter - but in my book it's still far from pastel blue. But again I have to say pretty!
