Chanel Taboo 583 re-visited - Collaboration Saturday

It's time again for a new Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel!

I have shown Chanel Taboo a long time ago, but I felt it needed better photos, so here you go...

Chanel Taboo 583 – was released in the spring of 2013. It’s a purple fire trapped in a bottle, a completely amazing deep dark eggplant purple color and with gorgeous shimmers in blue and purples, one of my favorite Chanel polishes...

I love it so much :)

Chanel Fraîcheur 767, Chance eau Vive coll. swatches - Collaboration Saturday

I'm showing you a newly released Chanel in this Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel!

Chanel Fraîcheur 767 is a LE and one of the polishes released to celebrate the new fragrances in the Chance eau Vive collection. The other two polishes are repromotions: Peche Nacree 515 and Ballerina 167. When we heard the first rumors and saw the first photos shock waves went through the world of Chanel collectors: Was it the sought after Jade with a new name..?

But it isn’t, see my comparison HERE.

Fraîcheur is a warmer and slightly lighter shade of green, but the shimmer could very well be the same. The formula is perfect and this is two coats without a top coat.
OBS: It's not being released in all countries. I got mine from a friend in Moscow, but due to heavy rain and problems caused by it, my polish was delayed with 2 weeks...

Chanel Cosmique 28, 1997 - Collaboration Saturday

Time flies, it's already Saturday again, and that means Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel!

Chanel Cosmique 28 is as far as I know from 1997, so say hello to this gorgeous oldie! It comes in an opaque bottle, black with a blue sheen, and the polish is just like it, the blue sheen is very unique. In fact I’m not sure if it’s a blackened blue with blue shimmer – or if it’s a black with blue shimmer LOL But beautiful it is! This is two easy coats without a top coat.

Chanel Argent 61, Or 62, Cuivre 63 and Bronze 64, Le Vernis Lumière Coll. 2000 – Collaboration Saturday

In this Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel, I have the Chanel Le Vernis Lumière Collection released in 2000: Argent 61, Or 62, Cuivre 63 and Bronze 64.

They came in long, slim 5 ml/0.15 FL OZ bottles.

I THINK they were meant to be used on their own as a sheer shimmer on the naked nail reflecting the metal that named each of them. But since my nails aren’t pretty with that kind of polishes I have chosen to show them as one finger swatches in one coat over my to go to one-coater black A England Camelot.

Chanel Beige Pur 659, Precious Beige 661 and Lovely Beige 663, Les Beiges 2015, Collaboration Saturday

In this Collaboration Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel, I have the Chanel Les Beiges summer 2015 collection, or rather the only 3 released here in Denmark (possibly in Europe). I’ll show the Chanel Beige Rosé 655 that I get from USA when it arrives.

Nudes aren't really for me, but here we go anyhow...!

Beige Pur 659:

Chanel Beige Pur 659 is the lightest of these three, a cream, and it’s actually a perfect match with my skin tone - EVEN IF BLOGGER  seriously messes with my skin color in this post - arrrghhh. Two coats would be enough for normal use, but I added an extra because of my ridges. The finish is beautiful and shiny so I didn’t add a top coat.

Precious Beige 661:

Chanel Precious Beige 661 is a bit darker (also a bit darker than the photos show) and it has a light rose hue and a subtle silver shimmer. It’s not really ideal with my fair skin, but also not terrible. Two coats would be enough for normal use, but I added an extra because of my ridges. The finish is beautiful and shiny so I didn’t add a top coat.

Lovely Beige 663:

Chanel Lovely Beige 663 is a really dark nude cream, it makes me think of chocolate milk. It’s very opaque in one coat, but this is two without a top coat.

Conclusion: Nudes aren’t really me, and I almost gave the entire collection a miss. But I’m such a push-over - and after all it would feel wrong to have all other released collections going back quite a few years except for this one.

If I weren’t a collector I probably wouldn’t have bought any of them, but now that I do have them, I’m quite pleased that I do!

Chanel Amité Unity Color of the Year 2000 - Collaboration Saturday

It is Saturday 3 in the afternoon here in DenmarK, and that means COLLABORATION SATURDAY wit my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel!
Chanel Amité Unity was the “Color of the Year” in 2000, and I was super happy to find it in a lot of old Chanel polishes on Ebay 1½ year ago. It is a very shimmery copper kind of shade with a lot of shimmer and tiny micro glitters. Normally not my kind of shade, but I actually think it was a very good match with my skin. This is two coats and a coat of Seche Vite.
