The base
color is China Glaze Infra Red – and even if I always use a ridge filler base
coat, my ridges stand unusually much out in holographic polishes, when dry –
even with a generous coat of Seche Vite over my nail art. As usual I painted my flowers with acrylic
craft color.
Grundfarven er China Glaze Infra Red – og selvom jeg
altid anvender en ridge filler grundlak, er mine riller altid meget tydelige
når holografiske lakker tørrer – selvom jeg anvender et godt lag Seche Vite
toplak. Jeg malede som sædvanligt blomsterne med akrylfarve.

Very pretty. Would love too see your nail polish organization :)
SvarSletThanks a lot, I have under DIY in the menu above some older posts about it, but am planning to do a new one eventually...
SletGorgeous flowers ^^
SvarSletI still don't own any of the holos from CG... T_T
Thanks a lot - you should get some of the older ones, this coll. isn't their best..
SletI had the same issue with ridges being more visible under holo and matte polishes. I sorted it out by applying more generous amount of base coat. I'm a bit disappointed with Infra red because it isn't red at all, and I was so looking forward to a red holo. Your nail art is sweet as usual.
SvarSletIt's annoying, I tried 2 x ridgefiller BC, and a polish underwear, but no, when it's bone dry they appear, but I do have some very deep ridges...
SletThanks a lot :)
Pretty flowers :)
SvarSletThnaks a lot Irmak!
SletGorgeous! Love the holo polish underneath and the flowers makes it even prettier. :-)
SvarSletI'm so pleased you like it, thanks a lot Ann-Sofie!
SletThis mani looks amazing. I love how you made the flowers :)

SvarSletI'm so pleased to hear it my friend!
SletFall in love with this desing! Well done Maria :)
SvarSletThank you so much Goncan, I'm so happy that you did :)
SletLovely flowers as per usual! I've found a thick base coat works better for me than the ridge filling one I was using before (I use Instant Artificials).
SvarSletThanks a lot Karen, I tried Googling it, but only found links to artificial nails, what brand is it/where do I find it..?
SletI don't know why holos show ridges so bad, but they do it to me too! I usually just try to buff mine down without weakening my nails though.
SvarSletThese flowers are really pretty! I love the blue and white together!
I never buff my ridges, then my nails split vertically, and that hurts so badly - and as you say weaken my nails too much - and in the end it didn't really help at all, because I have severe ridges... :(
SletI'm so pleased you like my flowers, thanks a lot :)
This is soo pretty, Maria! I love everything about it! :D

Awww, what a sweet way to put it, thanks a lot Elena!
SletDon't think about the ridged, they are not noticable. What I see is a gorgeous backcolor with magnificent flowers on top!
SvarSletOh, you are so sweet, thanks a lot Katherine!
SletBeautiful flowers :D
SvarSletThank you so much Traci!
SletGorgeous - love this! Beautifully painted flowers :) And I didn't even notice ridges until it was pointed out!
SvarSletI'm so pleased you like it Amanda, thanks a lot :)
SletBeautiful flowers, China Glaze Infra Red doesn't seem so red to me, but I like it! :-)
SvarSletNot is is a subdued red - I'm glad you like the mani, thanks Tanja!
