A-England Gothic Beauties swatches
I did not buy Dorian Gray, but here are the other A-England Gothic Beauties...
From left to right A-England Lady of Shalott, Jane Eyre, Tess D'Ubervilles, Ophelia.
The colors are almost black when they are out of the bottle, but the small glitters give a nice life in them, but still I'm surprised that they are THIS dark IRL...

Ok I'm just going to put it out there that I love everyone of these. But I DO wish they were not so similar, and thats the reason I haven't gotten any... Just a whole collection of such dark shades has kept me away, even if normally I would buy one as part of a different collection... does that make sense?

I agree, they are too similar and dark IRL, but 3 of them found good new homes, I only kept Tess D'Ubervilles...
SletIn the bottles all four polishes look very different, but on artificial nails they don't look so different anymore...
SvarSletI ordered only Jane Eyre, I got it few days ago and I have to tell you that neither I expected it to be so dark... but I love it anyway! :-)
To have one of them is OK for me too LOL - but as much as I love A-England, this collection was not really me after all!
SletI'm with everybody else on these - they do look too dark and too similar. Is there any significant difference when top coat is applied? I like dark polishes, especially dark shimmery ones, but I haven't ordered any of these.

SletI love A England polishes but I was a bit underwhelmed with this collection. It was practically black :/ Hardly saw the shimmer unless I'm standing in direct sunlight which I never am...I'm upset that I bought 3 of these....oh well.

Sleti see I'm not alone being disappointed with this collection.. its not only because the polishes are really dark, but mostly because the textures are so similar.. but there's a good side - i don't have to spend money on them ^^

I received Ophelia in a Llarowe mystery grab bag-I love it but yes it is very dark! I used it almost like a one-coat black, and it adds WOW that way. Nice haul!
