Kiko 294 Indigo and 339 Cornflower swatches

Two blue Kiko polishes - bth shown in 2 coats without top coat.

The formula and dry time is really good!  

Kiko 294 Indigo - beautiful, but in my mind not really indigo...

Kiko 339 Cornflower is a bit too dusty and in my opinion a bit pale to be called cornflower.
I love Kiko's polishes, but I rarely feel their names match the colors :)

Do you like them...?

April Fools: Illamasqua Celebrating Spring coll. 2013

I am SO excited to be one of the first bloggers to show you the brand new Celebrating Spring collection from Illamasqua, ready for sale at the end of April - so Micro Painting Monday has to wait....
All are cream polishes with a beautiful shine and shown in 2 coats without top coat, the application is flawless as usual for Illamasqua.

First we have Hope, and if there ever were a spring green - this is it!!! I love, love, love it, it's such a Maria color!

Next we have Cornflower - it's such a pretty light cornflower blue, so bright and yet subtle...

Strawberry Soft Ice - now, that's a pretty pink, and it actually makes me think of a summer weakness of mine: strawberry soft ice LOL

Mint Sorbét - this is a dream-come-through pastel mint, so bright and clear/cold toned - isn't it just pretty???

Finally we have Lila - a pastel lilac, maybe not unique, but so bright and oh so pretty...

The entire collection makes me smile and look even more forward to spring. The only color I personally miss in this collection is a pastel yellow, but then again Illamasqua Blow already exists. I cannot decide which is my favorite, but it probably is Hope!
