Picture Polish Ruby swatches

Picture Polish Ruby was reborn in 2015 and is one of the Glitter Shades. It is a gorgeous ruby red with a lot of glitter – super festive and perfect for Christmas. It was surprisingly opaque in one coat, but this is two with a coat of Seche Vite.

KBShimmer Amethyst and Ruby swatches

Amethyst:

KBShimmer Amethyst is the February birthstone, and described like this: Amethyst is a rich red toned purple loaded with metallic flakes.  A hint of holographic dust adds sparkle and shine to this polish.

Ruby:

KBShimmer Ruby is the July birthstone, and described like this: Ruby is a warm blue toned red loaded with metallic flakes.  A hint of holographic dust adds sparkle and shine to this polish.

It is indeed a gorgeous red, super blingy and intense, gotta love it! It is very opaque in one coat, but this is two with a coat of Seche Vite.

I love both, but my favorite is Ruby - whats yours, if you are able to pick ;)

Lacquer Lust Garnet and Ruby swatches

Today I have the two last of the polishes from the Birthstone collection.

Garnet:

Lacquer Lust Garnet – the birthstone for January. It’s a dark brown toned burgundy holo with a fairly strong effect and it has beautiful red shimmers. This is 2 easy coats without a top coat.

Ruby:

Lacquer Lust Ruby – the birthstone for July. It’s a reddish pink holo with a fairly strong effect. This is 2 easy coats without a top coat.
