Emotional flowers

 

The base color is 2 coats of Sation Miss Emo Shun All (hence the title), and gorgeous blurple neon. It was a bit thick and dried a bit slow, but OHMG it’s so gorgeous! I painted the flowers with acrylic colors and top coated with Seche Vite.

Grundfarven eer 2 lag Sation Miss Emo Shun All (deraf titlen), en utroligt smuk blålilla neon. Den er noget tyk i konsistensen og tørrede lidt langsomt, men hvor er den dog smuk! Jeg malede blomsterne med akrylfave og toplakken er Seche Vite.

Neon - Artsy Wednesday

 

This weeks challenge in Artsy Wednesday is neon!

The base color is the gorgeous bright, bright green polish from The Polish Junkie, the name is Apple. 

Using the bottle brushes of each of these neons: China Glaze Sun-Kissed, Sinful 24/7, Julie G Fierce & Fab and Gabrini M113 – I created a random pattern and outlined it with a black striper. The top coat is Seche Vite.

Dotting tools only - Artsy Wednesday

This week’s challenge in Artsy Wednesday is a mani decorated with dotting tool/s only. You basically can paint anything with a dotting tool that you can with a brush, personally I like to use both because the brush is more willing to do some of the work for you…

Denne uges udfordring i Artsy Wednesday er en manicure dekoreret med et eller flere dotting tools. Man kan stort set male det samme med et dotting tool som man kan med en pensel. Personligt kan jeg li’ at bruge begge dele fordi penslen overtager en del af arbejdet…

For me the finer details are easier obtained with a brush vs. a dotting tool, but that was a no-go in this challenge - for mig er de finere detaljer lettere at male med en pensel frem for et dottingttol, men det gik jo ikke i denne udfordring.

Yellow neon flowers on a yellow birdie

 

 

 

The weather was rainy and cold at the end of April, so I decided to make something summery and bright. I had no real plan except that the base color should be the yellow Catrice 700 Birdie Reloaded! Then my eye was caught by China Glaze Turned Up Turqouise (neon), and I sponged it randomly over the yellow. Then I found a neon green acrylic color, mixed it with a little white to give it opacity, and so I painted neon flowers. Finally I top coated with Seche Vite. It was really fun and bright to wear!

Vejret var koldt og regnfuldt I slutningen af april, så jeg havde lyst til noget sommerligt og klart i farverne. Jeg havde ikke nogen egentlig plan bortset fra at grundfarven skulle være den gule Catrice 700 Birdie Reloaded! Og så faldt mine øjne pludseligt på China Glaze Turned Up Turqouise (neon), og jeg duppede den tilfældigt hen over deet gule. Derefter valgte jeg en neon grøn/gul acrylfarve, blandede lidt hvidt i, og malede neon blomster. Til slut top coatede jeg med Seche Vite. Det var virkelig sjovt at have denne mani på neglene.
