Glow in the dark polishes from Well Nails/Foxy Paws and Serum No 5

I tried using this on top of It’s Alive, but it had very little effect. So here is a swatch on the bare nail. I needed two coats to get all of the nails to glow on the entire surface. It dries kind of matte, but not entirely and only gives a slight color change to the nail up to two coats. By the third coat, your nails really look weird in daylight, very unhealthy, but I felt I needed that for the sake of the photo. I will try this again on a white color, I hope the glow effect will last longer in the dark, than this does, I’m not very impressed by it.

Still, I cannot wait to show this to the grandchildren, I suspect even the boys will want to wear it.

Jeg prøvede den først over It’s Alive fra samme kollektion, men der var næsten igen effekt. Så jeg viser den her på ”bare” negle. Det var nødvendigt med to lag for at opnå effekt på hele neglen. Det første lag tørrede let mat, det næste lag blev lidt mere skinnende og der var kun let farveforskel. Men da jeg gav det tredje lag, som jeg følte var nødvendig for at få disse billeder, fik neglene et virkeligt usundt udseende. Jeg vil ved lejlighed prøve den over en hvid, og så håber jeg på en lidt længerevarende selvlysende effekt i mørket, for jeg er ikke overmåde imponeret, må jeg sige.

Men jeg glæder mig alligevel til at vise den til børnebørnene, jeg tror selv drengene vil have den på.
